I was a big fan of the serial. I studied in 3rd standard and remember watching the show in my motherland Kashmir as it snowed at night. The show was scheduled in the evening but some election or parliamentary thing happened and I remained awake with my grandmother munching biscuits and watched this show while a feet of snow had blanketed the roofs, walls and our garden.

@@skt6749 What I know Tipu sultan would have lived for 80 to 90 years by maintaining a good relationship with British and would have ensured the Thorne of MYSORE would remain with his successor but instead of that he died at only 49 at the door of his Fort while fighting bravely against the most powerful organization in world during 18 century .

Beautiful title track... Doordarshan had a few shows those days compared to the 24 by 7 culture brought in by cable TV, but most of those were quality shows, which till today have a repeat value. TIPU SULTAN being one of those Beautiful jewels in Doordarshan's crown 👑..

This serial was one of the greatest masterpiece ever. Everything used to be so perfect. Acting, directions , background music every department. The title track and the marching is going perfect beat bye beat. This background music tune is used in many tempos in this series. The war scenes has a different tempos. That was epic. Lot of respect to the legendary Music arranger and composer Naushad. Thank you very much for uploading this epic masterpiece.
