i done the same on my cars but had to move the led to in front of the motor because ive got digital lane changers .so when you pressed for the lane changer to activate the car guide would stop the lever from moving to the change position .since moving the led further forward ive had no problem changing lanes .if you have no lane changers then it wouldnt matter about where the led is in the car

It's a weller soldering iron 40watt . The flux is Barrie Stevensons I got it from a railway Exhibition from squire's mate
