    As a new creator myself, all of this hits home. I'm having to learn so many skills, put hours into any video I want to make, just to feel like my content will never be good enough, causing demotivation and lack of uploads. I work a part time IRL job, make physical art to sell at events, plus learning how to record and edit. But I love making things, being creative, bringing joy to people, being my own boss, that's why I even want to be a RUclipsr in the first place.
    Great video guys, was great to hear someone talk about these issues openly.

    This makes me feel a lot better 😊 I’m trying to start a RUclips channel and after procrastinating a ton I uploaded the first episode of my survival series, I’m still in highschool so I couldn’t put hours into editing and I can’t stay focused enough (adhd go brr) to do a hyper editing style. I was happy w my first episode but the first comment I got said that I should do better editing. I know it came from a good place but it bummed me out a bit 😢 personally I like videos where I can not watch it visually but still know what’s going on (mostly cause I’m always busy and I can’t sit down to watch anything these days q-q)

    I really think that there is a time and place for certian youtube content, I've seen so many youtuber grow and make that money because either they have super creative not done before content, and it really takes time to grow, especially when you don't have the right resources of equipment to make these videos. You guys make amazing content and this was an amazing and a super informative video, thank you for making this! 🎉

    As a content creator myself of sorts, I'm just one year into making minecraft hardcore content, I couldn't agree more with this video. For the last 2 months I have stepped away from hardcore content a little, cuz my current project was just taking a long time. So I posted 2 non-hardcore videos and yt algorithm just killed them.Which is crazy, cuz I put as much love into them as I put into my hardcore videos. I also tried making my editing style a bit slower since I'm starting to get less views anyway and OMG I can't explain how much more I started enjoying editing. And I'll probably start to put the slower editing into the hardcore videos since I'm enjoying in more and my friends that are watching my videos told me that they much more enjoy my videos now. TYSM for making this video, because I think people need to hear it.

    I think this isn't only for hardcore its for everything. but i think as we get older we are thinking things are changing way more then we used to just because we are now the creators and not the watchers. this has always been a problem and media will always adapt to suite the needs of the consumer. its a tough business and for hard work most get little payoff but the reality is this is what we signed up for when we started making hardcore videos.

    • @pyjamaprince

      And it's definitely noticeable as a viewer! Your videos are the perfect example of what humanized minecraft content looks like. Human paced, never boring, and a little journey that we can look back at after closing a chapter. Instead of having the entire journey cramled into one video that cost an immense amount of time and sanity.

    • @Speaker4
      @Speaker4 7 месяцев назад

      Thanks! Tbh I'm trying to blend the styles of the Hardcore Trends with a slower pace. Quick and significant edits but with more human accomplishments in a video. almost like Ethoslab meets Modern Hardcore Trends if you will@@pyjamaprince

    Y'all talked a lot about ad revenue and money on this 'podcast' and saying things like the time invested is not worth it due to the money being so little. I'd be interested in seeing you back up your claims.
    For PJPrince, my guesstimate on your largest video (The Absolute Perfect start in Minecraft Hardcore), would be between $854 - $2989. I got those numbers because Minecraft content general makes $2-7 per 1000 views on a video and the video currently sits at 427,000 views. Now my guess is that it would be closer to the $854 guess. I also tried to find how long you spent on the video. You said you were not going to sleep and the last time I saw the day counter was at 14:43 and it says 416 days. So let's estimate that the last 3 minutes of your video took you an additional 24 hrs. That would mean you spent about 162.67 hrs(not including editing) on this video. So you earned $5.25/hr. Was this a good guess? I'd like to know what it actually is but I get that you might not want to share that information.
    For Incy, your largest video is 'My PERFECT START In Minecraft Hardcore' which sits at 1.04 million views at the moment. So using the same strategies as last time I estimate your earnings between $2080 - $7280. You never show how many days you are on, and you never tell us how much time you spent on it so I will guess around 150 hrs(not including editing). So how much did you make per hour? $13.87/hr. Depending on where you live in the US, thats a pretty nice minimum wage job. So was this a good guess? Like Prince, I would like to know what you actually made but I do understand wanting to keep privacy.
    If commenting on here isn't to ur liking but you don't mind dming me you can find me on discord at "savvyspud"
    I also understand the struggle of working very hard on something and it not making nearly enough money to be worth it. I spent 4 months and over 400 hours just playing. Editing was a whole other nightmare. In the end it got 1k views.

      So, I won't directly say the exact amount I made. However, I can say that since I've been monitized, I barely made a thousand bucks on the videos that came after my perfect start. This was about 5-600 hours of work.
