I haven't opened up to anybody about this but this seems like a safe place for me to just get it off my chest. I have a best friend who I seem to think about a lot everyday. she's quite a sweetheart because she always listens to me when I feel like opening up about something and always understands what i'm saying and is just a great listener. We have great chemistry, we get along so well and we trust each other. however she is just my best friend but to be honest i'm actually glad and grateful to have her as my best friend even though I'd love to also have her as my girl friend. She can sometimes bring me a good feeling of comfort and safety when i'm feeling lonely or sad or just emotional all around. I feel like I can be myself around her with no problem since she always laughs at my jokes and weirdness. I can't deny that I really like this girl and I have since high school (2016 to be specific). It's weird though because it comes and it goes. Who knows maybe one day we'll get together but at the same time I don't want to fill myself with false hope. anyways thats all I had in my mind.
