Although, the tv show used his ideas for story lines, the only reason it worked was because of Larry David's influence, and the perfection of the supporting cast. I think that without Jason Alexander playing George as Larry David, the show would've fallen completely flat.

He's friends with Jay/Jay's show and in Billy's case... he just sticks to his own code of not slamming another comic's act, that's how he rolls. I respect him for that, eventhough I personally think he could comment on it without being rude but you gotta love Jimmy for who he is.
