  • Thai Street Food in Khao Lak Thailand. Taste Testing at Bang Niang Night Market. New Thailand videos every Wednesday. Subscribe: / darrenb3 . Khao Lak Night Market Tour.
    Thai Street Food is delicious and there is so much variety of street food in Thailand ... it’s a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. This video was filmed at the Bang Niang Market in Khao Lak, Phang Nga Thailand.
    The Google Maps coordinates for the market are: goo.gl/maps/Nzej25cuuX62
    It's open every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10am till 10pm, but the best time to get there is after 4pm.
    Bang Niang market is a mix of local market and tourist market. You will find everything there, from fresh food (meat, seafood, fruit & vegetables) and cooking ingredients, to street food, souvenirs, clothes and all other types of toristy items. The market is also home to a number of bars and restaurants. If you are in Khao Lak, Bang Niang Market is definitely worth a visit.
    Check out my recent video: 8 Thai Street Foods You Should Eat in Phuket in 2019 here:
    • PHUKET STREET FOOD | ...
    Thai Street Food is a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. Thai food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. There are so many Thai dishes and Thai sweets and desserts on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! You’ll find the same dishes at a fraction of the price you’d pay in a Thai restaurant. And in case you’re worried, eating street food is safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since I moved to Thailand in April 2012, and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
    Check out my recent video: Thai Street Food Guide: 5 Street Food You Should Eat in Thailand 2018 here:
    • Thai Street Food Tour ...
    The food markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap and tasty Thai cuisine on your Thailand holidays. Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!

I post a new Thailand video every Wednesday, and often on other days too, about Thailand: places to see, things to do, tours, Thai food, Thailand markets, Thai festivals & culture, street food, Thai recipes, eating Thai food, hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, Thailand holidays, tourism, accommodation & Thailand travel, including Phuket, Ao Nang, Krabi and other Thailand destinations.
    Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
    If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.

    Hi Darren, my dad was quite happy when we discovered your channel as he has been fascinated by Thailand since his last stay there. He was super excited to point out the places he has been, shown in your videos. He didn’t keep up with documenting his trip, which made it hard for him to share most of his stories. Thanks for making that possible now. Would you mind sharing what kind of camera you use to get such nice shots?

Actually Takuapa town also has walking street market, very nice authentic local foods & desserts..very interesting & tasty! But they will open during high season or now on Saturday late afternoon.

    Hi Darren
    Great as usual.do you ever have stomach troubles with the food.
    I enjoy it but I have had a couple of bad experiences.

    • @darrenb3
      @darrenb3  5 лет назад +1

      Generally no, but I'm careful with what I eat. If I buy chicken and it is not cooked all the way through I will either microwave it for a few minutes, or bin it, depending on where I am. If the food doesn't taste right, or smells weird I bin it. Last night at a restaurant they gave us our plates and they were not fully dry. I dried them thoroughly with the tissues provided on the table before using the plates. I always check my plates and cutlery to make sure they are dry before using them. If a vendor/restaurant doesn't look clean I won't eat there.
      I did have an issue with some street food I bought a few months ago. After I took it home I left it on the cupboard for around 6 hours then put it in the fridge for 4 days. After the 4 days I microwaved it and had stomach issues about 6 hours later. That wasn't the food's fault, that was irresponsible food handling.
      I know a few people (about 6) who have got sick while visiting here and they all believe it was from their hotel restaurants. I eat what the locals eat and that seems to work for me.
      If you do have issues my recommendation is to get to a pharmacy or doctor as soon as possible. I've seen people who leave it too long and then spend the rest of their holiday feeling terrible.

    • @darrenb3
      @darrenb3  5 лет назад +1

      Sorry, I know nothing about beach front hotels in Phuket. I believe they exist, but from what I've seen most hotels have a road between them and the beach in Phuket. I'd recommend having a look on agoda.com, that's the site I use for booking accommodation.
      I hope that helps.

    • @darrenb3
      @darrenb3  5 лет назад

      Yes that's true Doug, everything is more expensive in the touristy areas, including rent, so they really can't sell for the same prices as at local places. It took us about two and a half hours to get there from home.
