Tales From The Loop spoilers ahead: Putting aside for a second the fact that the entire soundtrack of this series is magnificent, what is even more remarkable is how well it is able to convey to you the emotions and what the various characters are feeling. Listening to this one for example I feel the heartbreaking pain of the mother who knows she has lost decades along with her not even teenage son. When music can make you feel certain feelings you know it is a masterpiece.
My girlfriend and I have a long distance relationship. She is in Brazil and I am in San Francisco, California. We kept the flame alive by doing things together, reading books, watching series and movies and sharing little things. A world apart, despite longing for each other's touch, we never felt really distant, never absent from each other and I never, ever felt that we weren't part of each other's life. Now, the traveling restrictions between our countries were lifted and we will finally see each other again. She's arriving next week. Watching Tales from the Loop was one of the very best moments we had together during these 16 months apart, The series is a masterpiece and inspired many interesting conversations. The soundtrack... Well, I am musician and sound designer myself and this inspires me so much! Those beautiful textures... The entire work was brilliantly crafted, so simple, unique and subtle, never cliche, never common place. Rich and humble at the same time... this piece in particular, touches me deeply in my heart. It made a huge impression on me. I knew Philip Glass' work since the '80s, but I am more of a jazz guy and never gave the deserved attention. Happy that I did. As a composer, It opened a window into things I hadn't touch yet... Thank you both for this beautiful work and for all the inspiration. Happy Hollidays!

This seems bad describing it but I mean it in a good way 😅. I have such a big thing for music, especially soundtracks, that put me right into the worst heart break 😂
