Got your cardio in on this one, Steve! Thanks for showing us the difficult bits.
A million mini steps is better than shoulder damage, that's for sure! Still gotta be impressed at that tap dance skill. ;-P
❤I love how Steve is not afraid to show the parts when things just don’t go as intended! That’s the real world! He’s one of the best! (And I’m 5’0 and 135 and have trained horses all my life, now 65! Just finishing up with a horse with no ground manners, and dragged more than one person away!). I watch Steve and Tanya and Charlotte all the time! 😊You are amazing!
I admire your honesty in showing this! Helps us all know that we can persevere even when it seems impossible!
Very grateful to you for posting this video. Helps to realise horses are horses and not all always goes as planned. And that it’s possible to fix things, and that one needs to persevere. Hope you’re unharmed, Steve;)
I’m looking forward to seeing the full video:)
"There's nothing behind him now." LOL!
Steve, this video exemplifies why so many people look to you for advice, myself included. Thank you for posting this. 🐎
Takes a lot of patience and not raising our voices. Thank you for making this last experience for him a good one!
Omg I'm in tears of laughter, hope you're both ok, love to see the full video x
You are so kind with them.
God bless
That horse was saying move your feet Steve. Lol glad you weren’t hurt , probably got your and Tanya s heart racing. Well done!
😂
That looked so scary when the horse pulled Steve round the building and Steve held on wouldn't let go! Then suddenly right, horse loads, horse puts his head down ... but those moments of giant animal running away, and hoofs ...!
Sooooo impressive as usual. Can’t wait for the video!! Well done you!
You definitely had a bit of a workout there, Steve. Hopefully you don’t have any lingering issues with sore muscles, ligaments, etc. A case of “From breakdown comes break break through”. Well done.
Looking forward to the fuller story of this intriguing snippet!
"Just a nose coming through the wall." :)
One of your best.
OMG ...hope you got a massage after this. Glad you are safe!
It was the first time I was worried about you.
Oh thank you! Love your videos!💙💜💛
I'm in looove...what a gorgeous horse!!! 🥰🥰 Sorry Rolex haha 💔💔
Run, Steve, run!! Glad you weren't hurt & that we'll get to see you do the Hustle again on Friday. I love big horses, always hated riding the little ones, like riding in a subcompact car, I always feel that my butt will be dragging on the ground at some point!
This horse is NOT in panic - just has a strong mind😉
Looking forward to the full video.
I'm so sorry 😂😂😂was so funny see you dissappear still holding on 😂 .but you got their in end I never doubted you for a second ❤
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great music to you being carted off. Glad all was well though
Was it your aftershave or something you said? Very quick feet from you there Steve!
Great little trailer, taster vid. Can't wait for the full video. ❤
Hi, if you see any kind of change in numbers who are watching these videos coming down, it is because of these short videos. It rarely works, as people wait to see the long one and when they only see short one, they stop following - sadly youtube works like that, it is not a friend of patience :/. I really like your channel
The "something behind him" was you smacking him with the whip.
WHOAAAAAA!!!!!!😳
😉😊
Oh dear Steve, so funny couldn’t stop laughing. Hope we see the full video soon 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎 😅
It can be really dangerous, that’s not “funny”. My gelding was abused when he was a foal and he was like that, he still has a reluctance to go into a small spaces, even though I have worked and treated him well for eight years. I have been hurt one day and I was not laughing.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
my horse never made problems like this. Just need to build up trust and relationship and have fun with horsie.
If you live near the horse, than you can take more time to build trust and do small segments of the load over the course of many days, it's a lot easier.
Its the whip
JUST A SNIPPET OF STEVE AND THIS BIG HORSE LEARNING TO LISTEN TO EACH OTHER. OF COURSE WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE THE BIG HORSE LIKED THE BOX😊
Please get a wind shield for your Mike. It could be just a piece of foam
Oh my...
Is there ever a time you give them a break? Or that's enough for the day? How can you tell?
ui ui ui, Steve, super
ARE YOU GETTING CARRIED AWAY WITH THE JOB? WELL HELD ONTO.
When the horse is too big and too strong!
@0:21 what did he think kicking the air was gonna do? Lol
I suspect the horse was irritated by the thigh boinging that Steve was doing, and was trying to get rid of it, this horse seems to have been more firey than most. Reminds me of my cat, poke me again and I'll smack you!! ;-P
I assume this video is for the people in the past who commented your videos were too long 😂😅😂
You’re calling that claustrophobic? She’s never been trained to go into a trailer, trust me that whip isn’t helping.
It's not a whip. It's a boinging stick. He boinks them as a form of pestering if they move in an unwanted direction and stops when they do a desired behavior. It's not expected to do it by itself though, it's just an irritant that happens for unwanted behavior to make the wanted behavior a bit more attractive. Yes it does work, but only if timed correctly and used with patience, you don't just poke them whenever, he has many other loading videos where he uses the same methods and it's clear it does work. However if you are saying you can't just lightly boink them on the butt a few times and expect them to trot right in, yes you are entirely correct. But just think of a kid repeatedly yanking on the pants leg of their mother, poking her in the thigh and whining mom mom mom mom mom mom for 30 minutes Until she finally turns towards them, that's basically the method, you are pestering until the horse finally just chooses the less irritating option. You can't force them and if you push too hard, they'll freak out or lash out but a longish bout of strategic pestering will usually do it. Steve actually rarely loses control of the horse like in this video too, this pretty boy got away with more than usual.
