Linear Position Sensing with an AAT003 TMR Sensor

We show how to use an AAT-Series Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensor for non-contact linear position sensing.
AAT sensors are normally used as angle sensors, but they can be easily configured so the angle of the magnet to the sensor corresponds to displacement.
No trigonometry needed; the displacement is simply proportional to the ratio of the two sensor outputs.
