However, since I limit myself, my current top pop is Venomized Magneto trending at $140. I have quite a few that I'm surprised aren't higher, but you can't always predict how well they'll do. Anything could change at any time for almost any reason.
Definitely agree here, but the way I see it, you either collect them for fun, or you collect them for the money. Sometimes collecting them for fun can end up being worth money, but if your main concern isnt making money off of them or reselling them, then there is no point in getting pops you don't want for reasons outside of value 👌Just know you're definitely not alone, I pass up on pops I know could potentially be worth money in the future if I don't already want it, because maybe they do go up in value, but its more likely to just end up being cardboard & plastic collecting dust to you. Plus I know if I dont want it for my collection, sb else probably does.

My most expensive pop is the first pop I ever got and that is the Wicked Witch of The West from the Wizard Of Oz currently priced at $300 and it’s funny because my mom got it for me randomly at a dollar general when she came across it in a $1 bin! She also told me how all the others had been in that bin too but at the time she just got me the wicked witch because she was my favorite and I wasn’t even collecting them then 😩. Still grateful to have the one though and it’s a fun story to tell when people ask about my collection.

8:30 you do realize that they're giving you these toys for free because you're marketing their websites right? its not just a random occurrence that you're getting expensive toys sent to you. they want to give the illusion that if your viewers buy the same mystery boxes they will get expensive stuff in return as well. you know this right?

Licensing rights is the reason. Funko does not have the freedom to make anything they want regardless of how it may seem.
