No words... bazball batting.. blitzkrieg considering the times, the kind of bats, the bowlers and that too without helmet. What was impressive part from this swashbuckling innings was 8:34 when Sunil gavaskar showed disappointment before srikanth did on getting bowled.
One of our favs in those eras
I still remember, when was Cheeka batting, everything would come to a stand still. Every TV shop would get crowded. The moment Cheeka gets out, the croud would disperse. Later on Sachin pulled such a crowd for a long time.
One of the greatest hitters of Indian Cricket.
K Srikanth the original master blaster of India. Fearless.
Goosebumps overloaded 🔥🔥🔥
Sri Kanth was my my favorite pinch heater of ball...I rated him higher than Sunil Gawaskar and Sandeep Patel.
Love from Pakistan ❤️
A gifted batsmen opener and useful bowler loved by every body
Cheeka after hitting every balls over the boundary: Podu shakka. Dhilluku dhuttu batting machaa 🔥 🔥
He played cricket like a mad max....once he scored a similar century against Pakistan bowling attack, consist of Imran and two W's. He played like a panther even a legend like Sunil Gavaskar would admire his shorts with a cheeky smile from the other end. Salute to the favorite son of India Krish Srikkanth....
Mr.k.srikanth,always fights for 💙🏏lndia 🏏💙
What an innings! Srikanth was playing T20 cricket 40 years ago! Absolute delight to watch!
India's first T20 player
@8:11 just standing with his hands at the back after a 4!😅
Because he has runner who is doing all the running
Hitting 20 rows back in this kind of huge stadium wow 😮
His all innings were fearless, legend sir shrikant ❤
I was born in 1986, a time when the legend of Kapil & Srikanth was at its peak. My parents had 2 choices to name me.. They chose Shrikanth😂
Swag at 8:08, he played an amazing straight drive and relaxing
The original master blaster of Indian cricket 🏏❤️
Yow cheeka nee periya kai tha semma 😮💥💯
😂😂
What a fearless batter!
A record number of straight boundaries!!!
I still remember fall of wickets
1-191 2 -415
Brutal batting 😊
Researched Truth
Cricketers from Tamil Nadu always played well counter attacked against Aussies
Eg. Ravi Ashwin, Murali Vijay, Kris Srikkanth, Washington Sundar, Natarajan, Hemang Badani
But it is tough to play for India from tamil nadu😢
I think Sir Viv Richards and Mr Srikhanth are two explosive players during 80-90s
Shrikkanth's batting was always free minded batting he did not think about results and scoring century in his mind ..but opening with new ball and watching him batting ..winderful🎉
Krishnamachari Shrikant knew just 1 way of playing be it tests or odis n was pretty entertaining when he fired
First T20 player cheeka🔥🔥🔥
Legendary Imran once said about srikanth "I don't know where to pitch the ball when srikanth is batting ". I think this is enough to tell about srikanth 's calibre.
Cheeka rocked❤
Aussies shocked😂
If only Srikkanth mellowed a wee bit there was another 3-4K Test match runs for the taking.....that's typical Srikkanth hot nd spicy Madras 🔥🔥🔥
If he mellowed down, he simply wouldn't be Srikanth. And he would not be remembered all these years later. He simply did not have the game to build long innings etc. Figured that attack was his best bet to gather runs before he got the inevitable good delivery. He himself said as much in a TV interview once.
No one not even himself can even remotely predict if he is going to be out for a duck or hit consecutive boundaries or get out to the worst ball bowled or hot a huge six to the best ball ever bowled.
Krishnamachari Srikkanth is one Enigma!!
srikkanth to sehwag to rohit sharma to prithvi shaw
THE OPENING LEGACY CONTINUES
He is the person who taught the world about quick scoring
