  • This is an incredible original car. Owned by one family for the 1st 47 years of it's life, the car was so well preserved it was incredible. The family finally sold or traded the car to a dealer and the current owner bought it in 2015. The only thing replaced is the top, and of course belts and hoses and tires and batteries over the years. We have documentation form the build sheet to the Protecto Plate and invoices for years of maintenance. The original 430 4bbl runs like a top. The engine doesn't smoke or leak fluids. Doing this video was a real pleasure. It's like riding on a cloud. The car has A/C, P/B, P/S and a power top. You have to check this Buick out at Garrett Classics in Lewisville, TX. Call us at 972-906-6327. check our web site at www.garrettclassics.com and be sure to like us on FB.

I had a 68 Wildcat but it wasnt a convertible. She was Charcoal metalic with the chrome Buick mag style wheels. Had the 430 which was as good as the 455 only had less h.p&less torque. It rode great, handled great and was very reliable car. That Wildcat looks Cherry and it sounds good.Make sure to keep it garaged !!! ❤❤❤ that Wildcat!!!

Had one brand new (for about $5,300!) in medium blue teal mist with a white top. The most beautiful car I have owned and I'm now 80. No problems at all. I even once towed a 60 ish Mustang from Columbia, Mo. to St. Louis (about 100 miles), no problem. And I moved a guy from North St. Louis to Page boulevard and put all his belongings (he was a recent college graduate and didn't have a whole lot of things yet) including his bed, mattresses and frame in the spot between the back seat and over the trunk! I did not like the Wildcat wheel covers however and asked the dealer to put the Electrons on for me instead which the dealer did for no extra charge and swap the AM radio for an AM-FM radio because though I lived in Lawrence Kansas and bought the car in Topeka, Kansas (which didn't have an FM station) I had a new job in St. Louis which did have one. To this day I think they took one out of an Electra and put it in my new car for me!
