Hi Chris - The secret is getting the straw flat enough. This is easier with some straws that others, but is pretty fun once you get it going. Keep exploring.
Yeah, the saxophone reference was confusing because it is not double reed. I was referring more to the vibration of the reed - hopefully that came across. Thanks for catching that.
like a saxophone? dont u mean an OBOE OR BASSOON? thats double reed clarinet and saxophone are single reed with a mouthpeice oboe and bassoon are double reed without a mouthpeice, like a straw horn
