For Eagles fans, the NFC championship game starts at the tailgate

As the Eagles get ready to host the NFC championship game, fans are already hosting championship-level tailgates outside of Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia. Check out what's on the menu for some of the tailgaters CBS News Philadelphia spoke with ahead of the game.

I grew up around the suburban D.C. area, you need to at least admit that Philadelphia is a far better "sports town" than D.C. is, Washington no longer even sells out every home game anymore and actually offers the public season ticket packages, lol.

@@gregpaspatis9425D.C. area has a lot of transients that move in so it won’t have a strong hometown regional feel. D.C. area still has some nice things like the seafood culture

Even though the Eagles are favorites in this game, they need to take an underdog approach. The Commanders have a huge advantage at quarterback. The Eagles will need to run the football and keep Jayden Daniels off the field. Jalen Hurts can’t help the Eagles-he can only hinder them. Washington is the best team of the 4 remaining. If Detroit could not beat them, I’m not holding out alot of hope for the Eagles. Sequon has to run like crazy or the Eagles can’t win.
