This album in context is such a comfort. Consider this was during lockdowns, they'd had to cancel their tour, and the international fans were really hurting. Including One Day At A Time on this album is....for me, it's a direct note from Ateez to Atiny - we see you, we know it's tough, but we'll get through this together.
this album is one of my fave ateez albums, smth about these songs together make my brain go purrrr. and this album was released during covid so “one day at a time” is kind of like comfort song to survive the lack of human connection and even tho we were physically far away from each other, we could still be there for each other. covid era was REALLY rough time for the groups, especially the new ones, as they had worked hard to debut only to perform without audience and had no fan-interaction.
Zero Fever Part 2 - Take Me Home is in my top 3 Ateez songs… make sure you watch the live version in front of the mirrors! Zero Fever Part 3 - For Deja Vu and Eternal Sunshine, you should include the Chuseok versions for cuteness overload! Also for Deja Vu, there is a Halloween Performance MV that is 😮
It is hard to rank Ateez songs, but one thing that I can say for certain is that Inception is hands down my favorite Ateez song and probably my favorite kpop song overall. I never get sick of it no matter how many times I play it, and I ugly cried the first time that I heard the bridge and final chorus. I really hope I get to hear it live one day. Yaaaaay the start of the Fever series!!! Dear Diary is indeed 100% lore. If you wanna get a good grasp of it, I'd advise you watch the Fever Diary Film, 16 minutes infused in lore! Fever is such a nice song, I love the lyrics and it's indeed a nice transition from the Treasure to the Fever series! This it's live version is so good, they're all so great and Jongho is phenomenal as per usual. And yeah I agree, the live version brings the song to a whole new level. They really are a group that benefits from having their songs played live. Also yes!!! Seonghwa was great, I love when he sings like this. Thanxx is a timeless classic!! And you are definitely right about San, he just switches on and off like that it's crazy 😭😭 When I saw them I remember saying I saw the dance demon possess him with my own two eyes at least 3 times 😭 I also get what you mean about Thanxx. Actually, when the vote was starting back then, I was team Thanxx based on the instrumental. Then they dropped a sneak peak of the performances and I changed my mind and since Inception is my favourite title track, it kind of eclipsed Thanxx for me for a bit and tinytown was also kinda traumatised lol. And with time and trauma subsiding, the appreciation I got for the song kept growing. OKAY! To The Beat is such an interesting one. I love when Ateez leans into their hip hop side, with a kinda trappy beat.The whispering is nasty, Joong and Mingi are going off and that outro just barges in like that LMAO. And live it's very dangerous. Especially accompanied with The Leaders 😭😭😭😭 This selfie cam version is so chaotic lmaoooo they're a very unserious bunch 😭 Oh Inception... My favourite title track tied with Halazia. The high note is both Jongho and Seonghwa indeed. Not gonna lie I think I did cry seeing this version of Inception live it was SO beautiful. The strings, everything. It got me so emotional. I often say when every single member gets to sing on a bridge, the song is bound to be great and that's the case for Inception. From Seonghwa, to Yunho, to Jongho, to San, to Wooyoung, to Yeosang, to Joong and Mingi, to Jongho followed by Seonghwa and Jongho's high note, it's just perfect. Good lil boy!!! Hongjoong participated in the composition and arrangement, along with Eden, Leez and Ollounder. To be honest I just love drum & bass so the chorus was an immediate yes for me plus Wooyoung singing on it, it got everything for me to be a satisfied customer 😭 One Day At A Time is a personal favourite of mine, the lyrics feel very comforting and in times of need it really comes in a clutch like... It can bring me to tears easily. The album overall is really good, an amazing introduction to the Fever series with my favourite title track on it 😭 Again, I hope you'll get to watch the Diary film, it helps put a lot of things into perspective regarding the lore! Part 2 has some nice surprises in store!

Fever series is the prequel to Treasure series. I had hoped you’d start with the diary film, as that gives you so much lore and actually gives you their very first diary entries. This was the first album with the diaries. Fever is my fav song ever. Did you notice how you can hear it in Turbulence. Fever is in quite a few songs. Love it so much. Cry every time. Fun fact. Fever 1 and World 1 were released on the exact same day. July 29.

Fever is the song I sing every day, because it is relatable. It reminds me of 2018, because of its style. I love it. I think you were right about Thanxx. I haven't heard anyone saying this is his/her favorite ateez song. When it was uploded I didn't really like it, but after some time it got better. The relay dance was so much fun! Also, the mv has really interesting aesthetics, idk how to say it, but interesting mix of colors and that massive thing in the end of mv. It is somehow unique, but the song itself has I think typical structure, that is why it do not stand out. There was not different chorus in the end like in "Say My Name" or it hasn't an emotional ending like in "Deja vu", because Thanxx does not need it. It's good as it is. To the beat is officially my favorite Ateez song. I agree with everything you said about it, and that whisper in the beginning is amazing! Inception is so good, that dance break, Yeosang's cool moves, that high note, everything is nice!
