I don’t find this particularly satisfying as we blame the fall for the world containing all sorts of bad things in nature such as disease and pests, but if evolution is true, which convinced it is, then all of these things existed before humanity even existed in which case we can’t really be blamed for it all
Greg's books, videos, and articles have been so helpful to me, so I was sad to come across this video. As a scientist, I do not find "evidence" for the theory of evolution to be compelling. It was somewhat reasonable as a hypothesis back when Darwin proposed it, given the state of scientific knowledge at the time, but by now it is outdated and does not explain what we know about creation, in my opinion. I would give a friendly challenge to Greg to reassess the theory of evolution - especially to read books by scientists in the Intelligent Design movement.

The real Fall came before humans existed, billions of years ago, when one lifeform ate another for the first time, thus enslaving all other life. Without God's wrath of annihilation, Our original sin would cause us to evolve our way into eternal conscious torment. Then Jesus came to tell Us that God's wrath is actually God's mercy, and that realization all depends on grace.
I love not viewing God as one who is loving and doesn’t need to pour his wrath on someone to forgive. But that is to ignore the God of the entire Old Testament.
Here we are deep into end time events and Greg is defending the first great lie with a cheesy grin. What a disaster why don't believers have discernment?
I came across this guy for the first time today. I liked his idea around penal substitution… I’m interested to k ow more on this issue. I wanted to check weather he had any real discernment.
