New Year's Eve Ball Test in Times Square!

Ball test atop One Times Square one day before New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Event co-organizers Jeffrey Straus, President of Countdown Entertainment, and Tom Harris, President of the
Times Square Alliance, along with Josh Weinstein, President, CEO, and Chief Climate Officer of Carnival
Corporation, flip the giant switch to initiate the spectacular, kaleidoscope lighting effects, illuminated by
32,256 energy efficient LEDs and enhanced by 2,688 crystal triangles.

America’s New Year’s Party, and we’re America’s cruise line - it’s a perfect match for ringing in 2024. Because
nobody does fun like Carnival for New Year’s Eve!”
The Ball is capable of displaying a palette of more than 16 million vibrant colors and billions of patterns that
