Colombia 2008 had the highest score for both swimsuit and evening gown rounds. It was the final Q and A that made Venezuela 2008 a Ms Universe. Nevertheless, Colombia 2008 also gave a good answer.

I've been revisiting previous year's pageants and I gotta say whoever is designing these gown for MU Phillipines is absolutely amazing. Pia's gown fit her like a glove, Catriona's dress is a masterpiece. The only thing I did not like were the nude platform shoe other than that she had a really strong performance. Now for 2019, even though the winner did a phenomenal job in the final night you didn't hear much from her in the preliminaries or social media. Her response to the final question was very contradicting. She mentioned about being discriminated for being black, short hair etc etc but just a couple years back she was competing, had a long straight wig and didn't even place. I feel like if she had included all black young girls, brown girls, minorities, or any woman that faced discrimination it would've definitely given her a 👍. MU is about inclusion but other than that her dress was impeccable and to me her face is gorgeous
I'm from the Philippines.for me as far as I know since 2010 up until 2014, Colombia designed our Philippines candidate evening dresses or national costumes ..but I'm not sure if they all designed our evening dresses or national costumes and that is only as far as I know(I'm willing to be corrected) it wasn't until 2015 pia's blue dress is designed by Filipino same with Catarina.

All...most of crowned ladies shown a certain aura of sophistication. There's an air of standing firmly on the title. FRUs may have been spectacular but the queens has shown stillness like theyve already been wearing the crown.
