River Habitats for Kids | Facts and quiz | Rivers

This video is part of a series that teaches children about the different habitats around the world. An introduction video is also available that introduces each habitat in less detail.
Children will learn facts about typical plants and animals found in or close to rivers. Children will also be taught about the ways in which rivers are being polluted and the things they can do to help look after them. This video also compares rivers in the UK to the Amazon River.
Knowledge will be tested with a fun quiz to check understanding.
And just for fun... a "spot the water vole" challenge runs throughout the video.
Children will be invited to go on a photo safari at the end of the video.
