Love this video it makes sense why I’ve never felt comfortable with being called a girlfriend but still went with it. I didn’t mind it so much in my early 20s but now in my 30s it just doesn’t feel right at all. I’m now dating for marriage and some of my female friends think I’m crazy because I’m skipping the girlfriend part. I don’t care, I’m always going to do what makes me happy and comfortable.
I’ve only recently learned about this and OMG it has completely changed my perspective to dating and in a good way! Thank you so much for making this video!

God bless you sis thank you I was just praying about how confused I was and not being taught about boys or how to date and how I grew up with unhappy marriages and my family with a woman was taking care of the household and the man was lazy and trifling and hunted for himself but not for the family and left us on our own while living in the same house. I prayed and ask God to teach me about dating what to accept but not to accept what's normal what's not what's worth my time what's not and how to go about this. So...if you're dating 3 guys at once for a year as you had for an example, do they know you're dating others? I would imagine you dont want to keep that a secret. Also I'd think you wouldn't want to be sleeping with any of them. How do they not give up if they asked you to be exclusive (be their girl) because they don't want to see anyone else but they aren't asking you to marry them (only like 3 months in or whatever and that is too soon) and by saying no that would hurt his feelings or make him think that you're a player or not interested in a committed relationship like marriage eventually...or putting each other in the friendzone if you're not affectionate either. How do you handle seeing all these guys and not get at least somewhat intimate and give them the wrong idea that you do that with everybody...or stay so rigid that you don't give any affection that they think you're playing a game and not really interested but just taking them for a ride pretending to be?
First, let me say I love how considerate you are towards men and their feelings but you come first. Your primary concern should be towards your own feelings. Men are not concerned when they monopolize all of your time, youth, and body all to cast you aside for something new or better looking. Your goal in life is self-preservation.
To answer your questions I would not sleep with any of the multiple men in the rotation. They have to earn your body with a commitment. Also, I would tell them I'm intentionally dating with the intent of marriage, I don't believe in just being someone's girlfriend, I need a commitment to take me off of the market. Hopefully, that helps. I have a video on rotational dating but stay tuned I'll be doing an updated video soon😘...
@@samology1 thank you! You have a lot of good points. That will help weed out the ones not looking for marriage and get the ones who think that's crazy talk to leave too. When people leave our lives that are not meant to be there anymore it's best to just let them go and wish them well. Looking at it like self preservation is not a bad thing. I like that. What happens when a guy tells you he loves you? I have guy friends I just say, "I love you too my friend" or "I love you too bro" but if it's someone that I don't necessarily want to friend zone but don't want to move too fast with should I just say something about not being ready yet? I've done that before with hand holding and kissing. I flat out told a guy I used to see it was too soon for me and that I don't move that fast and that I'd like to get to know him better and he was okay with that and it surprised him and he seemed to instantly respect me more. Does this work the same way? I mean I know sometimes it's hard to know the context and if I'm making a bigger deal of it than it is (in my head) or if I should give a playful response back that isn't exactly saying it but leaves the door open (texting and in person example please)? I've kept it light and breezy so if it doesn't work out I think I may have a friend for life if nothing else.
