@GianniButtice_ thanks. Honestly, I wish they didn't make it so complicated. the stress levels will be peak now trying to plan around this new chip hahahha. Happy Holidays!
Thanks for the explanation. So, within the budget and assistant manager counts as 1 of 3 from the same team. Its not a bad chip. A bit more planning needed and a new notebook! 😂
Overall I don't like the chip. It's unnecessary and too complicated. However, introducing it halfway through the season is idiotic. People will have planned their chips, and this one not only impacts other chip strategies but team composition, but also budget. Its a clown move to introduce it now and its clearly been rushed - if they knew what they were doing they could have announced it before the season started to allow for planning. Not impressed
I really don't like this. It's far too complicated. I'm by no measure a casual manager, but this is not for the casuals. And surely introducing a mystery chip in the way they did was to drive engagement, especially among the casuals.
@@GianniButtice_ to be fair there are good sides to it. I really like the idea itself of some kind of manager chip, and also the fact it's over 3 gameweeks is really different, I love that. But this version of it, I just think there are too many conditions on it. And the extra points for managers lower down the league getting wins against those higher up etc, we're getting into the territory of suggesting that players from lower ranked teams should get more points for goals/clean sheets in general. I just think it adds too many layers of complexity to our choices in a game that's meant to be fun and an escape, not a brain drain. And I don't like the idea of someone being miles behind and catching up a potentially 50 odd point, hard earned lead just by getting lucky with one chip. But sorry for the long winded rant! I'm sure when I play it and get 50 extra points myself I'll love it. 🤣🤣
@@GianniButtice_I'm doing alright but I really like the chip too guys. Like how it brings points into the game using managers understandings of form and fixtures of teams not just individuals.
At first glance, I'm a fan. Seems to be a very interesting twist in the game that could potentially factor in team over individual performance. I like the idea, but let's see how it plays out. Seems like it will involve loads of planning, but also a massive amount of luck.
Trent for Ait-Nouri because you can transfer in strikers under Cunha's price who can do similar to Isak but none are there near Ait-Nouri's price who can perform like Trent. Plus Wolves attack is better than their defence, you can keep Cunha for 2 weeks who can match Isak too.
Decent chip but you need to remember its over a 3 gameweek period, so it could be 10 points extra per game and 30 points total using the chip. There's a high chance you easily outscore that per game week using the free hit, triple captain and bench boost. I'm personally going to put this chip as a back burner and plan it around the other chips I have left, I think they have priority over it.
Its very rare i have a triple up. I usually have some money in the bank. I can handle some basic planning which might take a maximum of an hour of my time per week. I like it
Nice! Gives me an opportunity to climb my mini league with some careful planning! Skimming the fixtures, 26: Newcastle then 27, 28 Spurs look decent, although 27 is City at home for Spurs.
It feels a bit like “hey if you don’t have team budget get your Dibbling in the team if you want to use the chip”. Idk, it feels a bit meh but let’s give it a chance. Just wish it was a chip relating to actual players
My concern is just how complicated it is and the swings could be massive. But hey after letting it sink in for a few hours I guess I’ll just have to make sure I use it right! That’s all! As humans we don’t like change… I’m not sure on this chip, I do wish it were more simple… but I will just have to make sure I use it wisely.
The total point is the maximum each manager would have earned in 15 game weeks if the chip had been somehow active since game week 1. They’re hypothetical points…
@@GianniButtice_ I'm thinking Arteta form 31-33. If they make the FA Cup semis, their fixtures are Everton (a), Brentford (h), Ipswich (A), with Palace (H) likely moving into 33 for a Double Gameweek. Screams of clean sheet potentional. An extra bonus comes if they make the EFL Cup final. This would cause a blank GW29, where I could move out Saka and Raya, bench Gabriel, and create a free Arsenal spot for the manager chip.
Thanks Gianni for explaining the rules of this new interesting chip. My question is if I triple Arsenal defence Raya/Timber/Saliba, can I still have Arteta as Manager (that would make it more than 3 players per team in my squad; or does the '3 players max per team' rule not apply to manager)? Early thought this chip put Haaland owner like myself at a disadvantage for three weeks coz my squad budget is already tight and now have to stretch to an extra manager (just as I thought I reached the optimal Haaland squad 103m for the long haul...)
Love this chip. Totally messes with everybody - just like the pricing and the FTs this year. Some of us thrive on chaos…
Yes! This fits right in with my adhd 😂
"the mystery chip is here, and it's a proper, proper load of crap"

@RobGreen-q3m and lot's of FTs just in case. Haha.
another interesting point - manager is part of the 3 players/manager per club
And it counts towards the 100 million budget 😢😢😢😢

This is total bollocks
Palace manager! ….Villa manager maybe …..looks like I’m going to find at lest a mill
113 is what he has got over the 15 game weeks so far
47 is the best over 3 consecutive games
ah yes - haha thanks
yep i got that bit eventually!
Is vvd worth bringing for aitnouri this week or cunha to isak?
I have to do one
I'd do cunha to isak and wait on Liverpool defense
Absolutely hate it!

yes
@GianniButtice_ Yes, to which option?
It's really interesting going for the bonus teams, a draw is still worth more than a top team winning
exactly my thoughts

hey man, i did mine early on monday but i do have a cool video out tomorrow morning and have plans to do a video on friday around my team too

I've figured out a great spot for this, provided a certain team does well in the FA Cup (related to double gameweeks)
What is it?

Too complicated, unnecessary, should have been 3 captains, one for defence, one for mid and one fwd, in one game week
it does feel like the less engaged managers might not be able to fully max it as they wont care about the intricacies.
I like this idea and I also like yours not actually sure which id prefer but both good options
Absolute rubbish.
ouch!! haha
Arteta or maresca seem the obvious choices
Kinda low risk low reward id say, rather chase the upside
They lost my interest when you have to buy the manager
