Right there with Martin on choking! Lying on the couch eating Doritos and had one go down basically whole. Scary thing was, I could exhale, but when I inhaled it laid flat again blocking my air. I ran to the bathroom to try and dig it out, Heimlich myself on the sink, etc. Then I looked in the mirror and my eyes were bulging and my lips were blue! My mom came in and tried to make me eat bread to force it down. Finally, she hit me on the back at the right moment and the chip dislodged. To this day, I will not eat lying down, ever! 😂😂

When Gervais et al were talking about Jaws and someone said do you have a fear of something coming up the toilet... I live in Thailand, there is no sewerage system in Thailand (maybe in Bangkok) every house has septic tanks. Very rural areas don't have septic tanks they have basically holes in the ground. I've seen a still from a news clip of a venomous snake coming out of a toilet bowl, a snake catcher, with a rope around the snake trying to pull it out, the thing was about 4-5 ft and still not out of the toilet. It's rare, but I know, because well we discuss these things, a lot of expats flush the toilet before using the loo, some expats flush the toilet before opening the lid - just in case. Given it does happen, it's not a phobia.
Because the focus is the mouth, it may have more to do with speech. Such as there is something that you need to say in your life, but have a major fear of reprisal for saying it. Or whenever you do speak your truth, someone regularly invalidates whatever you've said. ...that kind of thing.
What does it mean when i got attacked in a dream and i punch someone but my punches have absolutely no power? I once brought that up somewhere online and turns out that A LOT of guys have this dream. I guess its also stands for some sort of loss of control. I even had it a few times that i did the punch in my dreams and because that punch hat absolutely no effect i suddenly knew that this was a dream because i had that dream so often before.
@@hanshandkante5055 got that many times when I was jung. I guess is connected with fear of not been able to react to certain situations or not been able to "get things your way". Is in general a lack of self confidence and stability of the inner self. Weirdly I did some training in front of the mirror throwing punches while thinking I will do it like that in my dreams, kind of worked. I also grew up.and got more confident in myself.
I don't believe it was actually locusts, but grasshoppers. Locusts are frenzied, mob mentality grasshoppers on an eating rampage, to my understanding, so if they weren't eating through everything in a swarm, they were grasshoppers. (Again, to my understanding-I'm not an entomologist)
I have a fear of chocking as well. My family was away for vacation, and I chocked on some food. I managed to remove the food. Scariest 30seconds of my life honestly.
I can’t believe they mentioned my childhood fear. After watching 007 Thunderball, I was afraid sharks would come up in the bathtub or toilet and get me!😂😂😂
In the Filipino culture, dreaming of your teeth falling out of your mouth, it's supposed to be an impending death of a loved one. Also, when did it become "You ITCH your nose" instead of "You SCRATCH your nose"? Isn't itching the sensation, as in your nose is ITCHY. But you SCRATCH it to get rid of the itch. It's like saying "I food the chicken." 🙄🙄🙄

three things 1)spiders and/or stingy things. i finally got a ring doorbell, guess what rang the back door last night, thats right, a fecking spider, a really long legged spider, that disappeared when i checked again a minute later and i dont know where it went. i might have to move. 2) loose hairs on the bathroom sink, or in food, actually makes me want to puke. 3) heights, but not being up high and looking down, i dont like being at the bottom of something tall and looking up. am i a mess?
Liz is on to something - I think losing your teeth in a dream is your subconscious telling you that you are stressed about losing money, or you don't have enough money.
It's only supposed to be bad luck to say Macbeth in a theatre. Partly the Supernatural/Witches aspect but also that the play is popular with audiences so an actor hearing it mentioned suspects the management is desperate for cash and he may not get paid !
Yeah, I could not deal with my kids’ loose teeth. If husband wasn’t home I sent them two doors down to my parents and told them to ask grandpa for help.
I remember many years ago, someone was asking celebs as they stepped out of their limos onto the red carpet what their greatest fear was. Without pausing, Lauren Bacall answered "Republicans".
Yes, that's what my Mom and Grandma always said. If your palm itches, then you're going to get money. And if you get hiccups, it means someone's thinking about you.
"What's a crisp, like a donut?"...always the gem.

Smart takeaway! I had a similar lesson in survival.
Considering that not even chimpanzees lie down to eat makes me seriously concerned for the intellectual future of our species.

I'm crazy scared of revolving doors!!
Dreams where your teeth fall out means that someone close to you or someone you know will die. At least in Greek/Roman mythology
I dream my teeth are falling out all the time. Terrifying!!

James and his affairs oh yes
Wuh
Since when did you start bleeping the swearing?
I’ve always heard it means you’re afraid you won’t be prepared for an upcoming situation or problem you don’t want to deal with.
When you dream of teeth, I was told it means there will be a death. That’s what I heard.
Or a terrible tragedy. And oddly enough a couple years later he got seriously injured saving his nephew from being crushed by his snow plow.
Losing your teeth in a dream means you'll be coming into money.😊

James affairs on weekends sounds naughty and nasty
