the trick of colleges is division 1 schools you don't have to have the highest gpa but you gotta work way harder to make the athletic programs where in division 2 schools academics are way harder but athletic program is easier to make and Harvard, FAMU, southern Illinois, Tennessee tech, Columbia, brown, Cornell, and any D2 school athletics is easy to make but academics is toughest than D1 schools because D2 focus more on academics while D1 focuses on athletics because D1 teams are on ESPN, abc, fox more often than D2 schools because the committees that rank college teams know people not gonna watch low division schools play and rather see D1 schools play and that's the way it is

High School GPA Above 3.75: Clemson 87% Citadel 42% High School Class Rank in Top 10%: Clemson 56% Citadel 11% SAT Math Score 700-800: Clemson 21% Citadel 4% SAT Verbal Score 700-800 Clemson 13% Citadel 3% Those stats are even worse for the Citadel than I thought they'd be before I looked them up. I'd imagine there aren't many Citadel guys who would have had a chance at getting accepted to THE University of South Carolina. Clemson.
