I wish all the resident evil movies could be replaced with a tv series that look just like these cutscenes. No live action, no hyper cuts, no paul anderson, no low budget fan made remakes, just pure fleshed out horror.
Concidering the fact that this game is 20 years old it really looks amazing
Little bit of antialiasing is all that it needed to look like a PS3 game quite impressive how good the re games looked back in the day.
This isn't how the game looked 20 years ago. A modder used an artificial intelligence to upscale all the textures and scaled all the polygons to much, much higher resolution.
@@Taric25 RE0 looks that good because Capcom still had original assets unlike in RE1HD which had mostly upscales because they lost original assets. Fortunately thanks for modern AI modder managed to upscale Capcom's upscaled textures futher with some hand made tweaks etc so both RE1HD and RE0 looks great :)

I always liked the difference in the dialog at the end of the train part:
Rebecca: Billy, be careful
Billy: Rebecca, don't screw up. Alright?
Maybe it's because I've been studying forensics for a fanfic, but the level of decay on the train passengers without any other signs of time passing--or even insects present--would immediately raise red flags for me. I know, it's a video game, but no signs of insects or the train having been abandoned long enough for dust to settle? Creepy.
This game ain't the easiest and takes alot of thinking and planning, but it is by far one of the most satisfying and underrated, it is the last classic RE game and you can feel it when you play

Ye, i can't even beat it (ran out of ammo at the last boss). I really dont like playing through games again, especially this one. But it's a really damn good game. That's why im watching the ending on youtube to see how it ends.
This game is pretty awesome. Has a good story, love the characters especially Billy and this game has parts that look better than RE remake. If there is one thing I don't like about this game it's that the item management sucks.

@@nickenhead500 Billy is believed to be alive.... a false report was filed by rebbeca claiming he had died on the attack on the van and that when they went to claim his body he was no where to be found ( basically saying he was zombiefied) his whereabouts are unknown

Although many people didn’t enjoy Resident Evil 0 when it released, I still think it’s a decent game.
He's really good imo, the marcus leech who are very tenacious, some ennemies who come back, the baboon far better than hunter in every way. This game is under rated

I've watched your previous playthrough for the RE0 and currently watching this new one. This is one of my favorite RE games alongside RE2 remake & RE revelations 2. Honestly I wish Billy & Rebecca would make a comeback in the franchise T_T I love this duo as much as I love Claire & Leon

Yesss thank you guys for playing this! This story is very complex, and dense. But it's important to the overall Canon so I try to understand.
And visually, this is one of the best looking HD games that RE has made. I'd argue that it looks better than RE1 Remastered...

The only thing I disliked about this game compared to the story in the Umbrella Chronicles was how the Leech Queen properly looked like Dr. Marcus who it infected, instead of opera boy in this game.

I bought this game a few years back I like the game but the fixed camera angles is a pain the ass for me. I thought it was fun but I have a hard time adjusting. Different generation I guess. My first RE game was RE4 so I’m used to over the shoulder type of aim.

Nothing more appropriate than watching this on a rainy day.
Out of the remaining oldies of the series, this fully deserves a remake.
AND, it needs a multiplayer system to fit the partner mechanic.
Hopefully, Capcom doesn't rush into remaking RE5 and do this one (or at least after Code Veronica).

That low rumbling sound at the beginning of the game, in the intro cutscene, sounds like the one from the beginning of Half Life 2. The part where you first step foot in City 17 in the main square.

Finally early!!! Even though I only started to follow the RE franchise after the release of RE 2 remake, I’m glad I found a youtuber that releases full gameplays without jabbering. I would really love if you try Doki Doki Literature Club. It looks like a cute concept game, but in reality it’s pretty dark and has one of the biggest plot twists I ever saw.
There’s also one called “try to fall asleep” and I don’t know if you already played “visage”, “granny”, the “Fnaf” franchise or “Emily wants to play”, but they also pretty good and would love to see them in your channel.

The hardest game of RE franchise ,by far. Low ammo ,zombies acting like a bullet sponge, very few heal items , backtracking in the whole game , REBECCA is a Glass , and many others things ,who made this game so special.

This game became beautiful compared to previous re zero playthrough
the voice acting could be so much better, but I doubt it'll ever get remastered with less-exaggerated and cheesy voice lines.
While I do like getting to play as Rebecca and think this one did some interesting stuff gameplay wise, in terms of lore it doesn't really add anything except plot-holes TBH. (if Rebecca knows it's Umbrella's mansion, why is she surprised it has umbrella products in the infirmary? Why does bravo team have two pilots if alpha only has one? What was Birkin even doing in the facility when he spent all his time working on G originally? Not to mention the REmake seems like the accident lasted a week or so based on documents like the 'itchy-tasty' journal and the murder cases that triggered the plot, but this game makes the whole timeline much muddier. And finally-why does Wesker only speak American in one game?) Still, nice to see another run and in 4k to boot.

This game is pretty average, to be honest. I really enjoyed the train section. Best part of the whole game for me. I loved hearing the rain outside and the atmosphere was incredible but it wasn't long before it became a boring, uninspired slog.
