I found your channel recently, I play acoustic guitar too and love your covers. You cover a lot of songs I like. I did wonder if you could share any tips on learning to sing and play at the same time? I'm working on 'Knockin on heaven's door' atm by Bob Dylan. I'm pretty new to singing but have been playing guitar a few years
I'd say start with songs that are simple on guitar, Knocking On Heaven's Door is perfect. I'd say play it slow while singing for awhile and then pick up the speed. Also try to know the guitar part so much that it's second nature and you don't think about it too much so you can focus on singing. Something I do sometimes too if the timing is difficult is that I'll make a note on the words where the chord changes are, that way you don't need to think about changing chords cause it's written right where it switches
