The very definition of "average" is that the majority of people fall into that range. Social media has definitely put a negative stigma on average and it is not mentally healthy, especially for younger people.

She's not ugly and I wouldn't tell a woman she was ugly even if I thought she was because I understand that attractiveness is in the eye of the beholder. (My wife looked beautiful to me without makeup when I first met her, still does 22 years after I married her because she always took care of her skin.) Now, I don't consider this woman attractive, based on what I consider attractive. Doesn't mean she wouldn't be attractive to someone else. I've seen tutorials on Chinese RUclips videos where a somewhat cute girl I probably wouldn't give a second glance turns into an awesome looking woman. Properly used, makeup can drastically change a woman's looks. I'm pretty sure it was the law in some states a good while back that a man could divorce his wife if he discovered she used makeup before marriage.
