PLZ HELP: My wife is into her 23rd week of pregnancy, she has DCDA twin pregnancy. The recent anomaly scan showed that one foetus has PLSVC (absent RSVC) PLSVC draining into coronary sinus. Narrowing at LVOT origin. Likely compressing on ascending aorta. Aortic valve - alising of blood flow in ductus arteriosus. Suggestions: Watch for Coarctation of aorta & Postnatal Echocardiography.
QUESTION: Please tell me very clearly if there is a risk associated with this baby? What is the chance of this defect harming the baby in future?

Same issue came in my anomaly scan report too. Please tell what steps you took? Did you done with fetal echo or amniocentesis test? Please reply please

@@shivangisingh8406 amniocentesis is carrying 2-8% risk of miscarriage and it's expensive as well. If you have done NIPT test earlier, and reports are negative, then there's less chance of any genetic anomaly to get detected by amniocentesis. Firstly see a pediatric cardiologist and follow what he/she suggests.
