Beautifully sung. And, hopefully you do not mind my posting the lyrics:
    Kaleo-hano, O Kaleohano kou inoa
    Ku'u home, ku'u home. Ku'u home O Keaukah--a
    Kaulana O Keauka-ha
    (repeat)
    Kaleo-hano, O Kaleohano kou inoa.
    Ku'u aina, ku'u kulaiwi. Ahuli i ke ka--i
    Kaulana O Keauka--ha
    (repeat)
    Aloha wau ia Maunakea
I ke anu o ke ahiahi
    Ho'olono, ho'olono. Ho'olono i ka leo kamakani
    Keaukaha no, ke ka oi
    (repeat)
    end.

@@rubyyoung470 - Hello. To translate a song from another land and language sometimes makes it sound a bit ''weird'' to us. Some things need to be sung in their own land for it to be fuly understood. But, there is a translation out there for the song!! (below)
From Wikipedia: _The song was written as a tribute to Richard Kuakini “Piggy” _*_Kaleohano,_*_ a musician and sound man who lived on Hawaiian homestead land in _*_Keaukaha,_*_ and was a pillar of the native community there._
      *The translation:*
      Kaleohana,
      Kaleohana is your name.
My home, my home, my home Keaukaha
      Famous is Keaukaha.
      Kaleohano,
      Kaleohano is your name
My land, my native land, and dashing and receding is the sea.
      Famous is Keaukaha.
Love I Mauna Kea, in the cold of the evening,
Listen, listen, listen to the voice of the wind.
      Keaukaha indeed, the place.
      End.
*Note:* In the last verse, ''Mauna Kea'' is referring to the name ''The White Mountain'' (The volcano), on the island of Hawai 'i
I hope this helps Ruby, and thanks for the question! All the best. Dogue

@@WhosAGoodDogue thank you I have been looking into IZ and his music. I saw the concert where he sang this song then a few people were crying and began to hug him. It was such a moving scene. Are you Hawaiian?

@@rubyyoung470 - Hello again. Israel (IZ) certainly did have a great voice for this song. Even though in one live concert, we see him with oxygen tubes in his nose, and he's really struggling to breathe, he still managed to perform a great song.
I first heard _The Makaha Sons_ sing _Kaleohana,_ before I heard IZ. (Many people think it was IZ who wrote it, but he was the one who made it 'famous' today, but it was one of the band members (Louis "Moon" Kauakahi) who wrote the song originally.
I have put a link below with them playing the song (RUclips video) with an American group of elders dancing a Hula alongside it. I _love_ this version. This is how it was originally sung, a few guitars and great harmonies. Oh, and sadly, no, I am not Hawaiian...I'm Scottish! - Regards. Dogue.

@@WhosAGoodDogue that's funny that you are Scottish. I'm Scottish from 4 or 5 generations. We are related to Mary Queen of Scotts. I'm in a group that has a chat with people from all over the world. I was just chatting with a lady from England this afternoon. We watch on RUclips and chat on telegram it's a lot of fun. It's Owen Benjamin. It's a great group I'll put a link for you to check it out if you'd like. We could chat there.
