In this video, we'll be showing you our failed attempt at leveling the subfloor. Even though things didn't go as planned, we wanted to share this experience with you to give you a good laugh and hopefully a few tips on what not to do. I thought we would be really screwed but luckily it all worked out. Not sure if you saw the tile install video. If you have not check it out. I’m my opinion we definitely redeemed our selfless.
Not judging, just wondering why you used thinset and not self leveler?
Hahahaha it’s ok if you are judging this was a mess. I don’t have a good answer for you lol. We originally were just going to fill the low spots but it escalated really quickly.

@@DIYwithMAX I get that. Self leveler is expensive and has a very short working time. I'm looking to level out a badly installed slate floor. Its level, but not flat. 360 sq ft = 16 bags of leveler at 1/4" thickness. Very expensive. Lol
