Process flow charts help us with that understanding. They show the sequence of process steps. Here are some common symbols that we could use on our process map:
- Rectangle - activity
- Diamond - decision
- Ellipse - start/end
- Arrow - directional flow
- Circle - connector (on-page)
- Pentagon - connector (off-page)
- Rectangle with Curved Bottom - a document
- Rectangle with Interior Vertical Lines - a predefined process

hi . what is the difference between on page operator and off page operator ? i didn't undestand very well.please. thx
Example you had not enough space for your paper(on page), then you’ll going to continue it on another page (off page). And it written with one alphabet for that. (Ex. A,A)
