Woody Marks play was the coolest play, Period - not just in the game. Just the fact he'd even Think to do it, instead of simply tackling. Total indignant confiscation. ("Ahem. If you don't mind, I believe that belongs to Us. I'll just be taking that back from you, sir. Good day.") Not to play Grinch's/Devil's advocate, but Gentry is a Different Player this year, far more Fundamentally sound - apparently as a result of coaching (as Gentry himself observed when asked) - showing most marked improvement in Tackling technique; last year he'd sort of go to his knees and Fall into tackles, whereas now he's laying Hits (sometimes still a trifle too High, but the man's practically wearing stilts, so there's a certain amount of forgiveness). Kulkin isn't wrong about the sophomore slump, but Branch didn't drop that pass over the middle last week; it was Broken Up - the DB's elbow knocked the ball loose as Branch was gathering it (clearly shown on replay). The Automatic fair catching, though, is mystifying - almost as though he was under orders, early on, to call fair catch on Everything - even a Kickoff! - and with plenty of open space before him. (Last year he was fearless, declining fair catches even when literally surrounded - leading to a few of his best runbacks). The impact (especially last weekend) hasn't been trivial - not only nullifying one of SC's great weapons/advantages, but also pinning the offense back deep to start possessions.
ABSOLUTELY game ball to Marks. . That falling tackle thing was gawd awful to watch and why no one took us serious this year even though the Grinch was fired. We were in top 25 only because WR's and Miler's bowl performance. And Miller had a really bad day in the Big House, and the O line sure as hell didn't help. really bad.
This defensive staff has indeed done a fantastic job. To see Anthony Lucas handle the edge like he has been doing is a complete turn around for him from last year to this one. Players across the front have improved with possibly the exception of one who I won’t mention who has decided to redshirt. To that player I say this: become better. Stay with USC somehow, and try to elevate your game so that you can develop and get the snaps that you need…if that is what you want. That’s all I will say there. To any other prospective player. If you want to become better, to be moulded and to understand how to play like Aaron Donald. He was only the best defensive lineman to put his hands in the dirt. Ever. If that is what you want to become, you need to go West, young man, and see if you can get an offer to play for USC. Go and learn from the best defensive O-line coach. He is there at USC, where the best defensive staff in the nation is firmly in place and teaching their players how to become ready for the NFL draft. If that doesn’t have your attention, then maybe NIL is what you want. Otherwise if huge contracts and fame at the NFL level are your next stop, you know where to go.
This Michigan grad met lots of very classy SC fans around Ann Arbor and at the game. Seems that SC’s only classless fan is Marc Kulkin. Man, does he bitch and moan.
The run game and run defense needs to improve. 90th ranked run defense will not get it done. As for the run offense, Lincoln should incorporate more stretch run plays, which will allow for bootlegs.
I think the wake up call has been issued for all players that may not be putting in 100% in practice or games. The fact that the staff didn't give in to Bear's threats this time around, is one heck of a wake up call. Bear's big head syndrome may have started in the spring, when he threatened to leave if more NIL $$ was not given to him. Since SC (understandable, due to the perceived shortage of talent at that time) caved in, and gave him more $$, based on numerous reports since that time, Bear stopped giving it all he had, all of the time. Between injuries (allegedly), and time off, it makes sense why he is not getting the playing time he wants. Since the beginning, it sounds like coach Henny has been giving all players the same message.... You are going to have to earn your PT!!! Unfortunately, it sounds like Bear does not feels that applies to him.
10 Qs: (1) we will EVER learn to tackle? (2) we will EVER learn to tackle? (3) we will EVER learn to tackle? (4) will we EVER learn to pass block? (5) we will EVER stop the run? (6) do these glue-sniffers ACTUALLY THINK we are going on a 9-0 run? (7) we will EVER learn situational coaching skills? (8) will we EVER stop the run? (9) will we EVER have talented O and D lines? (10) can we FINALLY agree we aren't going 12-0?

A one-point deduction - to be assessed at the start of next week's ATQ - should be given to Kulkin for walking back his Biblical Plague wish.

Marc was favored a question and half was genius!!! Also Clay Venables 😂!! Fight On!✌🏾
You should have order take out from Zingerman's Deli. Anybody visiting Ann Arbor needs to go there. The greatest!!

19:56 Darth Kulkin complained like an old man about fish sticks, odor, and the lack of media access.

What happened to Five Things?
Where are the people who said “this offense will as good or better without Caleb”
Those fans were just Sunshine pumping.
Oh boy the trolls are back…
Chris, how about you assess projections on the following week? Like who’s going to have a breakout game, or which team will lose this week?
Why not more Kyle Ford and Deuce. ???
Puddy needs to paint his face in USC colors this Saturday.

We shouldn’t be surprised considering Caleb is no longer the qb where he was known for bigger plays.
Caleb hid a lot of Lincoln’s offensive flaws.
Receivers will have a good game on Saturday
How did Bear ‘call out’ teammate Meyer?
His dad did. On twitter
Is Riley going to use Deuce more
………,NO😂
@@alexalonso2093 QB is running for his life to find any Duce.
Yes.
Lake cannot make a move in the open field to save his life
The play should be to a fast dude not the TE. Setting him up for faulure!
Marc's group is protesting.
He was dominant with the fish.
Sleeping with the fish.
I buy my tickets from the taco vender. The one with the accent.
Chris and Erik only please.
"red shirt" = I quit
Not impressed with the receivers this year.
They were overhyped coming into this year.
Don't count out Jay Fair
There is no way Michigan should have scored on that last play
Actually a good show. A little fishy at times.
Why the hell would we throw to a TE in the flats. They do not have the speed to beat a LB or Corner
A good TE gets open and brakes tackles, that is why.
good old "choklahoma"
