@adelaide2525 Mmm, while I think it does look nice, I don't think the aspect ratio serves a film like Amelie. More narrow aspect ratios can lend itself to very specific kinds of cinematography - coziness, claustrophobia, both with the scene but also with close-up shots. Back with what I mentioned to reidfleming. It's not that the magic is gone so much as the magic is unfamiliar. Undiscovered doesn't mean undesirable. There are so many other places you can go
