IT'S TIME TO OPEN THE SHOW! Finally, after 5 weeks of rehearsals in 2020, 16 months of waiting, another 11 weeks of rehearsals, it's now time to get this show on the road!
I'm Dieuwke Tönissen, a musical theatre performer from the Netherlands, currently working at Starlight Express in Germany!
After a break of 16 months (thanks to Corona) we're back in skateschool and I'm gonna take you with me on my journey to our opening night on the 3rd of October!

A little tip to help with the sweat (from an ex drag queen).... take the waxy toilet seat paper covers (used mostly in public restrooms to cover the seat)...cut them into palm size squares/ rectangles and keep them in a fridge/ mini fridge. In between scenes where you are sweating a lot.... blot yourself (do not smear) with those chilled squares/ rectangles to help remove the sweat and keep your makeup looking good.

Even though the songs are in German I know them all from the London and Broadway shows used to have the double album years ago and heard that Starlight Express race is in the mind of a little kid playing with their toy trains he’s control and he’s up past his bedtime sitting on the floor with his train set so cute but so love the show

Hallo, ganz viele Glückwünsche zu dem erfolgreichen opening. Wie funktioniert das mit deiner coverrolle gibt es geplante Shows wo du diese spielst oder findet das nur ganz spontan statt wenn der maincast der coverrolle ausfällt. Viel Glück und Spaß bei den nächsten Shows.
Hi, kann beides passieren :) kann frühs ein Anruf bekommen das ich abends spiele aber es kann auch sein wenn jemand mit Urlaub ist das ich es schon vorher weiß! 🙂
