I have used the same softwash pump for the last four years. It is the Delux D7150 Diaphragm Pump. The one before that was 2 years but that was because i wasn't flushing the system regularly.
I just troubleshooted both of my Everflow pumps broke both all apart cleaned and unfreeze the gears......Both back working......FLUSH, FLUSH, FLUSH out pumps....Wish I could post pictures. Very easy to break down and clean....
I went through 2 of those bleach pumps from northern tool, both of them conked out the second day I was using them. Went back the the standard 5.5 and haven't had a problem.
I'm in my 3rd season and still haven't had a 12v go out on me. I've retired a couple simply to be proactive, but they'll still chug along when I hook them up. I think 12v's get a bad rap because a lot of people don't know how to do basic maintenance and troubleshooting on them. And then they go out and buy a vastly more complicated gas roof pump setup and think all their equipment problems are solved...😂
@@southeastsoftwash4020 😂 Seriously though, you need to do another video on the futility of looking for that "better mousetrap" and leave it up this time. I want to share it in a few groups and tick some people off...👀😏
My 7gpm everflow has ran great for the better half of a year all the sudden it starts blowing fuses after a few minutes of work, any ideas? I checked my wiring could it be the pump failing?
Northstar bleach pumps were awful for me. 3 heads and two pumps in like a month. Don't let them even look at water(casing) or do roofs with them(hot mix).
@@TheOliverFamvlog well, 1 screw up can cost you thousands and thus is a really good “cover your butt” thing. Plus it’s a buy 1 time and it lasts forever type thing. I bought it.... it’s much more thorough than my old one I used
I got over a year on my 5.5 right now I rinse it out after every job, and it’s still running today!
Cody, do you have any videos on how you hook up your camlocks to these pumps, which brand, plastic or stainless fittings, etc? Thank you sir
Purchased. Thanks! Always nice to have backups. Glad you have some in stock.

Dude I had the same problem. Guess I’ll have to go back to the old style.
so what pump shoul i get ?? bleach or regular?
Cody. I'm thinking about finally pulling the trigger and buying a blend manifold from u. How fast is shipping to Illinois. 😁
If u rinse out pump with 10gals of fresh water after every use it will last so much longer! I have same pump now for a year.
Yessir
Hey brother , didn't mean to offend , love what you do , your a great help
If you want great production and longevity do a thorough rinse and retefflon on every plumbing
Why do you use a 5.5 gpm and not a 7 gpm? Getting ready to buy on and was wondering why you wouldn’t go bigger?
They just run better. Less electric issues and performance is almost the same.
These type pumps are okay if you clean one story roofs from the ground. I switched to a gas powered pump and what a difference!
Good for you
Are you sold out of the replacement diaphragms? I’m not seeing them on the site. Thanks in advance!
We don’t stock the diaphragm kits yet
How do u rinse out ur pump?
Occasionally run agent halt through your pump

Can you rebuild an everflow? Is it cost effective?
Not really, as long as I get a couple months out of one I’m happy,
Just easy and cheap to replace the whole thing
Does the bleach pump have the same mounting bracket pattern as the regular pump? Interchangeable
Yep
So all pumps cant take bleach?
Naw. It’ll kill ‘em

Probably time to replace pump
Do the bleach pumps use santoprene or viton seals/diaphragm?

I’ve gone through (3) of the cartridges on these pumps in two weeks. Anyone else having lots of trouble out of the new cartridge style?
Amen!
