Mike, how do you get your screen so large and legible in 3DXChange?? What's your resolution set at.. I have visual issues and with my regular screen size the stuff at the right and left is VERY tiny.. Thanks.
I'm actually pretty awful at manually animating anything. If I had to make a character walk downstairs I would do it either using canned animations (there are lots which have both up and downstairs walks) or my mocap suit (which I use for nearly all my animations). If you have Anima (and may have seen some of my tutorials on it) you can do it easily with the actual set you have (just draw your path over the stairs) but this will involve moving your avatar over so may not be best. Finally, there is the excellent Cascadeur which might be able to handle this - I've only begun to explore it but it's worth a look.
I hear you. I like Daz a lot but hate it for animation which is why I mainly use iClone now. By the way, thanks for all the tutorials that you make. They are super helpful.
Always easy and helpful tutorials, Mike!! Thank you..

My screen magnification is set for 150%. So, 1920x1080, but at that magnification.
@@MikeDKelleyThanks Mike .. I'll try that!

Just in case you ever need to know... To expand the timeline you just change the number next to "Total" at the bottom-left of the screen (timeline).
Thanks, I did figure that out eventually. I'm not really a Daz person, though -- I try and spend as little time in it as possible .

@@0calvin Thanks for the kind words - they are what keep me going.
doesnt work, only shows the 1st frame of the animation
Well as you can see from my tutorial, it does work. So you'd have to show me a video of what you might doing wrong.
