Lube is not supposed to be applied like that. Like spraying all over the axle, rims and spokes. The lube converts into a sticky material after few minutes and all the spokes, rims and wherever the lube got sparayed will attract more dust and it will stick.

You should have let the chain dry after cleaning,wipe off the remnants of kerosene and then lube thoroughly..,let the lube set for sometime and again wipe off the extra lube from the sides and rollers .. thats how youre supposed to do actually

You are supposed to spray the inside of the chain on the bottom run as that is what contacts with the sprockets.

JPT TANI ETHNIC after every 500 km recommend... and use motul c1 and c2 . Its a nice product . But u can also used WD40 instead of motul chain cleaner...
Jhumur Chatterjee I just wanted u to know that, a freind of mine told me to use mobil in the chain...but after I used it, I saw my chain got so many dirt and I had take time to clean it. Finally I have lubricated it with a lubricant not mobil. Bu I want u to know that my thundbird 350 chain gets dry so soon and the chain start making sound. Please tell me exactly
JPT TANI ETHNIC never ever use mobil bcz viscosity of mobil is too high . Its attract dust particles. Actually its depend of ur areas if u r from city than chain lubrication need appx 400 to 500 km. For ur case, my recommendation will be u can try motul c1 and c2 . And definitely u will feel the smoothness of ur bike ..
Jhumur Chatterjee let me also tell u that ,I am from North East india, u knw our place is hilly terrain, and rugged , so it is not that smooth like ur city. So do recommend for people like us.
JPT TANI ETHNIC see im from kolkata . And city's are much more polluted than hilly areas.. so i do chain lubrication after every 500 km on my ktm duke 200. But ur area is pollution free so , motul c1 and c2 will be the best option (every 500 km) for you . Trust me try it once and than send ur feedback . And remember one thing my frnd , chain lubrication is for remove dust particles from your chain. It doesn't matter where your bike roll on...

Aditya Rajpurohit yes market sa kharido. And c2 ak dedicated product hai to obviously kerosin ya petrol sa accha ha .. mai apna duke main use krta hu.. but u can also use wd 40 instead of petrol ya kerosin.. its a low price product

DEE World i was going thru all your videos , cudnt see any video which shows back wheel spokes cleaning as well as rim , u hv excellently shown chain maintenance bro , same spraying kerosene and wiping with dust removal cloth is only option ? my chain spills out too much grease , is it common for all or service center guys mistake ?

As per my knowledge..... Lubricant dena se pahale ak kapre se chain ko fully dry karna parta hai....

Petrol use karna chahiye with engine oil 50-50 ratio mai. Petrol udd jata hai jaldi or engine oil k sath andar tak chaun clean kar deta hai

Guyz be careful when spraying kerosene or diesel on the rear hub... It will sometimes spoil the bearing or the break show.... I faced once and I'll never let those degreasers to go inside the hub...

I use the same procedure.. But I use petrol instead of kerosene... and youth brush instead of Chain cleaning brush..
i am sure that would have worked... Old school techniques are always good...
Petrol will destroy the O rings of chain.. that is harsh... Use Diesel + kerosene...

After diesel wash wipe off the residue with a cloth wipe off kerosene/ diesel completely then only apply chain lube..
By not wiping off kerosene the chain lube will throwback from chain after someride.
Also its compulsory to open front spocket and clean it lot of junk get deposit there
Saari rims ki aisi ki taisi kar di.ab spokes par jo lube laga hai udpar dust stick karega. Poora lube faila diya deodrant ki terah. Ideally we should put some barrier behind the chain while applying chain lubes. So that it doesn't stick to alloys or rims.

ATTENTION: Guys please be careful with this chain lubrication process. Today my cousin got his fingers crushed and permanently lost two of his fingers 😢. I don't even have a RE but I wanted to share this personal experience as I don't want any of you to go through that. Please let whoever in your circle that owns a RE bike know this. Be extra careful during this process and spread the word 🙏
P.S: The information I got from a third party tells me that my cousin was doing this with the engine turned on. Will mention the exact incident after contacting him directly.

Don't v have to wash the chain with water after applying kerosene and brushing the chain and then apply the lub.....

Depends on how dirty you chain has become. But for normal use lube after every 1000km or 2 months whichever is earlier.
