If you are reading this David I would like to say on behalf of all fans of music 🎶 that you are a treasure and your music will go on forever ❤️.God speed James
Still heartbroken with James demise. David pack's voice hasn't change a bit. This song, so great. I could not ask for more James, David and Michael together singing.
It gives me chills everytime i hear the blending of three majestic voices. This masterpiece is worthy to be preserved and be served until the year 4000 and onwards.
Three of the most beautiful voices ever. And during this difficult time, the tribute shows a tremendous respect for a fellow musician that has no color barrier. Just a love for a man, his character, and his music. I only hope this could be a bench mark for things to come. RIP Brother of soul!
David Pack, your voice is one of a kind. Just as Michael McDonald and James Ingraham. I grew up listening to you guys and how fortunate for us to experience true craftsmanship of this caliber. Each time I hear you sing, it hits me to my very soul. Thank you for all of the wonderful songs you have wrote over the years. May your friend James Ingraham rest in peace with the angels. Look forward to hearing your voice again with a new album. Blessings and Peace to you. 🎤🎶🎸
I was a lead singer in bands back in the 70's and 80's. Almost everything we performed was with three part harmonies and it was a joy to feel that feeling when everyone was right in their parts. We never came close to sounding like you guys of course but the music that you David with Ambrosia and of course Michael McDonald with his solo career and with Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers inspired us to no end. I wasn't that familiar with James Ingram but I love this song and understan the kinship that you had with him was deep. Thank you for the music David Pack, You are an Icon with a one of a kind voice.
I love this song in 70's slow rock jazz. I like James Ingram , David Pack and missed their voices together ❤. Thanks to David Pack for this beautiful song. I cant let you go ❤
I've always been a fan of both James Ingram and David Pack when he was with Ambrosia, and a huge fan of Michael McDonald as well. The way this song was written and executed is phenomenal. I still tear up when I hear these three voices in harmony. R.I.P. James Ingram, and Thank You.
This is a little eerie...I have just been listening to Ambrosia, over and over, today! I had no idea that David Pack! Thank you. I just heard that one of the members of the Association was connected somehow with Ambrosia. We are losing so many of our greatest......reasons to get to heaven!!
Beautiful, David! If there were a million people singing, I would recognize your magnificent voice among them. Thank you so much for sharing your gift of music with us!
Hearing those voices together, is like a time capsule of all my music memories spanning the 8 decades I’ve lived in. This also brought back a memory of when I met Dave at a wedding reception. I think it was Laurel Canyon. I think Michael Omartian, Mark Frajilian Rachel Meclish, Greg Laurie were there. I was the sound guy so forgive me for not recalling who got married. Anyhow, Dave sang great as always.
I listen to ""I Just Can't Let Go" every week. The heartfelt lyrics and orchestration are so soulful and powerful. But it's the awesome harmonies by David Pack, Michael McDonald and James Ingram (who died too soon in Jan. 2019) that make this great song extra special! Thank you, David, for this beautiful tribute.
This wonderful tribute takes me back to 1986 when I sent a letter (yep, handwriting, stamp, etc.) to David. How surprised I was several weeks later to receive a lovely typewritten reply. We communicated about our mutual affinity for James Ingram, Mike McDonald, et al. David, you remain a decent, loving gentleman and a dynamic artist. Our world needs more like you.
David, if you alone are incredible voice, just imagine plus James and MIchael, others 2 GREAT voices. YOU all a genious, and GOD gives you Angel Voices. Thanks for exist this three angelical voices.!!
Hello David, I wanted to take this opportunity to speak on your wonderful, heartfelt video. It brought tears to my eyes and a hugh smile to my face. Absolutely beautiful! At the age of 18, I feel in love with you after first hearing the words to "That's How Much I Feel ". (Who didn't)? Something in your voice seemed to pull my heart from my chest, and I was lost to you and Ambrosia! Over the years I have had to replace my Anthology cd several times due to wear and tear. Now to see you have emerged again is pure delight! As a fan, I am so very happy that I am able to say my love for your lyrics, music, and voice lives on! Thank you for sharing your gift with us! Yes, the world needs more like you. P.S. The story, song, symphony of "Cowboy Star" is genius!!!!!

James Ingram is one of my all time favorite singers. He had such a great voice. The three of these guys singing together was a great collaboration. 3 of the best vocalists in the history of American mainstream music. Love it. Never gets old.❤️
One of my favorite songs. David is great. Add in Michael McDonald and James Ingram and you get utter perfection! What a fantastic blending of three wonderful artists.

Dear David, I've lately been playing songs of my 'youth'. I'm 55 years old. And listening to your songs just lifts my spirits up. I'm from Manila. And I spent the best years of my life listening to your songs. THANK YOU. God bless you.
So thankful RUclips reconnected me to your songs and amazing voice! Love seeing that you still carry that perfect voice 40 years later! Still handsome! ; )
David you are a beautiful man inside and out. I fell in love with your music in 1975 and your lyrics in the love ballad’s resonated home to me. First love was so intense, scary and wonderful. Thanks for the years of great music and it’s nice to see you are still out there performing.I love watching your video’s and remembering how I felt way back in the 70’s & 80’s.Thanks for sharing your gift with the world.
That acapella harmony you added at the beginning gave me chills! You guys could have done the whole song acapella if you ask me. WOW!!! Loved the personal pictures and videos of you three, too.
I listen to this song everyday! Being a musician of 59 years I marvel at the vocal blend, the layering of the harmonies, and how these three singers can rip your heart to pieces with their masterful work! All three are tremendous on their own, but this collaboration was one of the best I’ve ever had move me! The chord changes within the vocals are just the best! God Bless all of these singers and may James Ingram Rest In Peace! David Pack, beautiful work, I would love to meet you some day and pick your brain. My wife loves me singing with you on this! Thank you for such a beautiful song!
I listen to this amazing song, along with Biggest Part of Me every day, as well! There is something about David Pack’s artistry that pulls you in for life. His body of work is timeless.
David if you read this that song is one of the best songs that will stay with you from now until God calls us home. It strikes a chord in anyone who will listen and to me that God had a hand in this song you made it stirs your soul. David will you ever get together with Michael McDonald and sing this live?
This song is so pure and beautiful. It reaches down into my soul and makes me tear up when I don't want to. Jayzus it's so so good. Every little piece of it is sooo good.
DAVID I have been a fan from the very beginning, holdin on to yesterday was my first experience listening, I was a musician almost 50 years, and harmonies were my main thing. But, your voice really stood out and made Ambrosia for me.Great songs and harmonies and a great singer. years ago i went to see Ambrosia open for Three Dog Night, and was very disappointed to find you weren`t there tho other original members were. They did fine, but your voice was missing. The very first time i heard this song i went right out and bought your solo album. I `ve always loved this song and wanted to learn for the bands i played in but nobody else wanted to spend the time it would take to get anywhere near what the three of you did. So I never got the chance to do the song. I listen to it often it was on tapes when they were in style, and cds , now on my I pod i make sure its in there. Thank you for all the music, and this one especially. One of my all time favorites... Stay Safe
Wait a minute!!! What??? Am I sitting here listening to the inimitable dreamy legendary unforgettable voice of David Pack? This is such an incredible tribute. I have chills all over. What an incredible gift it was finding this tonight! Wow!!! This is so unreal. I’m in awe!!
Much, much respect for David Pack. He positively pays tribute to black artists he got to work with throughout his career and not many guys, ie, Steve lukather Eddie van Halen mentions their interaction with black artists so positively, ie, Thriller, Africa etc.
This is the only song I have the original cassette I bought, then I bought the vinyl album... and now have several versions on cd. Beautiful tribute to James Ingram…
I don't how I found my way here, but I'm happy that I did. What a beautiful tribute to your friend James Ingram. He's a talent that is surely missed by me. RIP James. I have been a fan of Ambrosia forever and still listen to their music on a regular basis. One of my favorites is The Midnight Special 1978 - 17 - Ambrosia - How Much I Feel. The last verse always tears me up inside.
You're my favorite singer and writer, singing my favorite songs, and your CATHOLIC like me!!! I'm so mindblown right now! God bless you. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us!!!
God bless you David Pack for creating this masterpiece again, and again. James was certainly one of a kind and the three of you together have stirred the hearts of many lovers for generations. That beautiful church adds an incredible dimension to this video. Thank you for adding that in. We are blessed to light candles in these holy places for our loved ones in the faith. Blessings to you and to the whole world.
dear David, you have such a pure heart that I felt thru listening to your songs. God bless you always. you know you've touched so many lives. I really thank you for your wonderful songs, because of you I heard such that wonderful from the heart which I played and listened to every day. greetings from Philippines! from christine
I regrettably just recently came across Ambrosia / David Pack. It’s safe to say, I’ve listened on repeat their top 10 songs ‘hundreds of times’. This song, ‘I just can’t let go’, is one of the ‘untouchables’, that has ever been written or sung, in my opinion. Parr excellence in every facet!! Thank you David Pack! -JM
That is the closest to sounding like a full-blown Gospel choir that a male trio can ever muster.
David Pack has one of the best voices of any male singer I've heard in my over 60 years
Ditto that❤
If you are reading this David I would like to say on behalf of all fans of music 🎶 that you are a treasure and your music will go on forever ❤️.God speed James
David you have true fans from Ambrosia days. Still listening in 2023.

@@robynhawkins48 Are you talking about my comment? I'm a little confused!
Absolutely!
I've always known Ambrosia but never realized the amazing singing talent of David Pack till now. He is Amazing. What a golden voice.
If you haven't already, check out his duet with Ann Wilson (of Heart). "The Secret Of Moving On" is what re-hooked me on David's music.
Me too! Well said.

Thank you for all the music, and this one especially. One of my all time favorites... Stay Safe

David Pack feat. Michael Macdonald I just can’t let Go. What an amazing 😉 and such an emotional song so beautifully sung.
Three amazing voices....one amazing song.....unfathomable talent. Thank you for sharing.
Such a beautiful track and those voices! 🎶 David Pack , brilliant artist, wonderful human being. So loved. 💙
This is an excellent example of music as one of the "ties that bind friendships."

I fall in love with DAVID everytime I hear his voice 💙
Me too
fantastica voz este muchacho!!!!!
