I appreciate all of these demo videos very much. Regarding the hand tracer, is that generally only used on flat surfaces? Could it be used on a slightly rounded rock as well?
A carbide hand tracer can be used on semi uneven surfaces as long as you try to keep as much of the tracer in contact with as much stone as possible. If it is uneven give it a few gentle taps first to knock down some of the high points. If you hit hard with little contact you will chip your carbide tool
Hi Darrin- Looks like the hammer Randy is using is our 3 LB Cutters Hand Hammer (HCH3) with a fiberglass handle. That style hammer is available in 1 lb to 4 lb sizes in quarter lb increments and comes standard with a 13" wood handle; 13" smooth grip or cushion grip fiberglass handles are optional at additional cost.

this is a fantastic tool bough one myself have used it for the past 8 years and its still a fantastic tool couldn't be without it

Awful demonstration the chisel is never straight hes double tapping and trow and Holden uses brittle carbide and soft steel
