What a great drama! Autumn in My Heart, East of Eden are my two favorite Korean dramas. Love Song Seung Heon pair with Song Hye Kyo and this young actress. Great chemistry between them.
I know right! She's even better in Descendants of The Sun. I watched Autumn in My Heart when I was really young with my mum and it was dubbed in Mandarin so I only remember bits and pieces and of course the same tragic ending! While everyone spent their childhood watching cartoons and western things I spent it watching Korean Dramas and other dramas though K ones especially ( and they were dubbed)
powerfull casting....up to now my heart is still aching...one of the best drama i've ever watched...kudos to the whole staff but i rather want to have a happy ending with dong chul...been aired here in the phils. but i failed to watched it..escaping my sleep and meals just to finish it guys..takes me 3 days hahaha... tnx a lot for giving us the opportunity to enjoy watching..

The saddest part is that DC hated how his dad left them and promised (when he was younger) that he would never do what his father did to his family.. but now he's forced to experience the exact fate and leave his child alone.. :,,,(

Finally I watched the East of Eden, but I was a bit disappointed that that Dong Wook (the prosecutor) and Ji-hyun did not reconciled. I thought they had the chance to continue their love that was interrupted by Myun-yung.
This ending makes me confused and feel sad and gives me a hope for Dong Chul. Probably, that's what the writer wants. Anyway, i do want Dong Chul not to die and i think he should be alive at the ending 'coz he deserve it.
I agree sometimes u need a happy ending in this case because he had sacrifice so much already for his family it would have been nice for him to be with them n da end overall a great drama full of twist and turns action and life lessons.
