King Louie & Renato Caranto Trio: "I Should Care"

King Louie & Renato Caranto, with drummer Michael Raynor, played this swinging jazz standard during their 3/13/22 performance at Portland's Artichoke Music. Both Louis & Renato are Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductees (Renato toured with both Esperanza Spalding and Merle Haggard in recent years), and they play everything from jazz to blues to funk to soul-jazz in the course of a single set. It's all about fun, soul, and spontaneity with this dynamic duo--and an exciting drummer like Michael Raynor turns things up a notch!
