Mind is blown again, thought that was funny when i saw the "eccentric" pop up. I believe we are that way because we hate restraints that other people place on us and understand the need for people to be who they are and not follow dogma (un questioned belief ). I can't explain how I love but I do feel emotions deeply but just usually from a distance rarely do I show it and when I am asked for affection I usually try to change the subject I feel bad it's always on my terms but I need to have the freedom to show my love when I want to. My ideal relationships are "best friendships". If you think of friendship, it is warm, not cold. A true friend is someone you enjoy spending time with, have fun with, able to have an intellectual conversation with and can rely upon when you need help with something.
What I don't like (or understand) are the type of guys who decide I should "give up" my other friends or interests and ONLY focus on them exclusively. I understand that may be common in many committed relationships, but I find it scary to "merge" with someone else. In reality, we are two separate individuals. Why do we need to merge as one? I don't want to be some "other half" and lose my sense of self.
Ironic for me is I "attract" the "possessive" type of guys. I have learned to avoid the intense Scorpio planet type of guys, unfortunately, my "avoidance" seems to make them want me MORE. My Venus in Aquarius lack of interest or fear often makes me perceived as a "challenge" for many guys. From my point of view, I am "showing" I am NOT interested in a guy, (why won't they leave me alone) yet the persistent type of guys will "turn up the heat" even more, come on even stronger to try to "win me over". For me, this is confusing and my worst nightmare, some guy stalking after me. I have to be careful of who I am too nice to.
