It's true. For the first time since listening to Eckhart and his teachings, I finally have a deeper understanding this whole thing called the present moment and calming down the thinking activity in the brain. This video almost calmed me down immediately.
I'm actually about to leave my comfort zone which is quite scary. But deep inside I wanted to do that since a long time. I'll leave all that comfort and security and will go into unknown just because I feel that I should. Someone also said "Nothing ever grows from the comfort zone".

3 days ago, my sister died of Covid. Another sister has been in critical condition for a month and a half. Our mother passed away in Aug. I had to have my 12 yr old dog to sleep and now my beloved cat has been missing for days. In 2019, my husband of 20 yrs was killed by a train. And yet…I’m still standing. My awakening began in 2015 and the change in me has been amazing. I feel God’s love with me. ♥️

From the start of this pandemic, I have thought that this a test for humanity. I sincerely believe this is happening to awaken many , to shake up each one of us and to realize not only what we are made of but to give humanity more GRATITUDE than ATTITUDE and as a result reach a higher level of vibration in the collective. Appreciate the daily life and routine that we take for granted, the simple hello to the person you pass on the street, the sitting in traffic listening to music to get us to that everyday grind, that we now isolated to our home are so missing to do. Ironically we read this passage at our wedding. Now, 24 years later, after a 3 hour grueling divorce mediation session, in the middle of a stock market crash and coronavirus pandemic, I listen, and I realize I'm losing all my material possessions, my home, half of my time with one child, and all of my time with another, and what I thought was my future is gone. I guess I built my life on sand, not rock. But at least at 49 years old, I finally found myself. And you. Thank you so much, my dear Ekhart. As I go through this challenging, uncomfortable situation, I will remember "what is my state of consciousness?" "It's not too late to start digging now". "This a time of great opportunity; when the ego weeps for what it has lost, the spirit rejoices for what it has found." This is just what I needed to hear at exactly the right time.
I'm with you I divorced my husband he thought I would take his big house I left with my son rented a home I'm happy he now he is unhappy alone with big house.
My wife died of cancer on my birthday in 2005. In 1996 she had my baby son while battling breast cancer, a doctor killed him 30 days later. My wife died 9 years later, after risking her life to have him. My two best friends got killed flying. I lost everything I owned because of depression, I was homeless for a very long time. I could write ten more pages of tragedies that have happened in my life, but I dont think that way anymore. Even though they nearly destroyed me, and it hurt like hell, I see the gifts in every situation now. There are always people who are worse off than you, or went through worse things. Always. If you think about it, you are stronger than before. You know what you want more clearly, and you know the pitfalls. Society demands we do all kinds of crazy things, but we only have to find our own happiness, and thats it. Appreciate the contrast, and you sure find out who your real friends are when there is drama in your life. Nice to get rid of that dead wood you werent interested in anyway. When I took care a friend dying from ovarian cancer, I saw a beautiful, kind,wise human, she wasn't her cancer, she passed away, some day she was my teacher and I was the student, she was a humble, spiritual being. After her passing, I keep looking for more knowledge on how to be like her. One morning I open this channel and our wonderful teacher Eckhart Tolle was there teaching about how to let go of our ego. I knew that my sweet friend Robbie was still guiding me on how to be more at peace. The power of know has giving me so much peace, I get to help my daughter now that has brain injury, to let go of her pain, by telling her you're not your body, you're your soul. We have learned radical surrender to all the things she won't be able to accomplish and do in this life time. My heart flipped when I saw those photos of clear blue skies over China's usually smoggy cities. The earth is healing in the absence of destructive human activity. I hope we can take better care of the planet when this is over. We have a collective responsibility. For everything.

Adversity is a powerful tool that you can use for spiritual growth and connecting deeper to the moment. Pain does not mean resistance and suffering. The moment can be uncomfortable, but the mind and thinking is what creates resistance and the suffering. Often times when we really don't want to be present is when we need it the most. I would love to have the luxury of worrying about the corona virus. Unfortunately I have to deal with the effects of the disease I’ve had for 20 years. I just get worse. I saw a Sam Harris RUclips about how meditation prepares you for the worst day of your life. I thought this might actually work. Sam Harris meditation is very different that just the focus on breathing. It goes deep, like how this guy thinks. I meditate everyday, but haven’t let go of my ego, or the feeling of being the thinker of thoughts. He even says do you feel as though your consciousness is behind your face, behind your eyes. If you do that’s wrong. I feel that and can’t get past that. I feel like it was easy for him because he already felt those feeling in-depth through his use of MDMA while at Stanford. It’s hard to do it naturally. If anyone has any tips I would appreciate them because the way my body is now, everything is so much harder that I’d rather not deal with it anymore, but I’m forced to everyday. I can’t hate dealing with it now plus knowing it will keep getting worse everyday when I wake up and have to slog through existence all over again.

Close your eyes, focus on your breathing for a while, than try to feel your toes from within, feel the energy field in your toes, than in your fingertips, than try to feel the energy field of your whole body all at once....if you catch yourself drifting in your thoughts keep bringing your attention, your focus to your body, your toes, your figertips, etc. This helps me every time! I lost my son to disease. It forced me to dig deep. I found presence. It has been 3 years of hard work. I found within myself a strength which I never knew I possessed. Thank You for aiding me throughout this endeavor. I can now remove myself from negative thinking, through much practice. When it arises I take a breath, separate the feelings from the present moment & step outside of myself. This practice has brought me peace.💞

I worked with many people,educating them to recognize deferent kinds of abuse they could not define what us happening.For example -narcissistic personality disorders,which is hard to spot for untrained eye.When you can define something that is giving you unrest,understand it ,you can distance and protect yourself.That is only an example. I am talking about resilience in life,not actual fighting. ‘Just accept it ‘concept is leading to menial issues...without actually understanding what are you dealing with.Rather Trust yourself,your intuition and every part of you is there for a reason...not to hush hush it forcing yourself to accept anything.

I'm only saying whatEVER situation you are faced with, you only have three choices: Accept it, leave it, or change it, IF possible. But the very first thing is ACCEPT it with zero resistance. Acceptance is the only way to see and or feel fully what you are facing. Then the wisest response or lack there of, will come through YOU. Not through the mind that creates danger. Through YOU. If YOU Can change it, you will change it. If you can't change it, you will leave it. If you can't leave it, you can only Fully accept it. That means find the peace within that can be found with any situation. Yes. Even if you don't prefer it. The most resilient way to BE is to BE surrendered to whatever unfolds, FIRST.. PS I hope E. T. has helped you because this practice has for sure helped me. If this does not help you, don't worry. Just keep resisting and you'll eventually be FORCED to surrender...

@@geoms6263 Beautiful words. I grow my plants mainly from seed: gardening is my greatest ally in spiritual faith (I love using gardening as an analogy for spirituality). Currently I have several seeds germinating and sprouting on my window sills. Some seeds take longer to germinate - they have a tougher shell...and when it looks like NOTHING is happening (actually so much is happening beneath the soil; in the darkness) life is bursting forth and the shoots reach up to the light. The fragile part is waiting for the roots to strengthen...after that the plant thrives with the correct nurturing (just like us)...and just like us we need to weed out the stuff that may be toxic/affect in a negative way and water with love and the right nutrients. Just like with the masses right now, when we plant seeds, we need to cultivate, have great patience, send love and KNOW that nature will support life. Positive thought is the strongest things we have; mind over matter, heart power x

I love hearing your consciousness. Your book The Power of Now was a life saver. I was in a very dark place when I was making a film about peace and environmental awareness and I wanted to end my life. My sister, a doctor said I should take anti depressants. I wanted therapy and coaching but I went to the doctor to see if I needed antidepressants. He told me that I did not. He said I needed to read the book the Power of Now. I had no money and put it on my credit card and it truly saved my life. I have always been a meditator but I judging my sensitivity and emotions. I was focused on lack. You reminded me of gratitude and self compassion. In fact I’m going to write a book about my spiritual journey and I would be honoured if you would write the opening foreword
Beautiful story....I am familiar with being saved at the very last possible moment. I smiled when you wrote, "I had no money and put it on my credit card" That credit card IS money--and something to be grateful for (def not saying you weren't grateful) When I was poor---like I am now---I literally didn't have any money whatsoever. Nothing. Nada. Not even a credit card to serve as money and get me through rough patches. It was scary at times till I pulled it together for a little bit in my head. Everything I needed eventually did come to me....and always in the nick of time. I learned to be grateful for those moments and for every moment leading up to my "saving" It is actually quite humbling at times. I am getting back on my feet and had an opportunity to turn my life around (financially) but ---nope. There are still other plans for me. The opportunity has to be put on hold until this virus is under control. So I'll wait and be fine in the interim...nothing else can be done about it anyway! Thanks for sharing your story of hope!

Both Tolle and Perls and thousands of other spiritual teachers, personality theorists, and philosophers borrowed their ideas from wise men who came centuries before them. As far as Tolle and Perls....Buddhism and Taoism are all over their stuff.
There is no love in fear. There is no fear in love. The present moment is as it is. Resisting or denying it's legitimacy is like trying to hide from the sunlight in an open field. Embrace it as a tool for an inner work. Accept reality. Fearless. Bold. Without reservations. Realize that you cannot lose your life. You don't have a life. You are life! I'm very grateful for Eckhart Tolle's teachings. I've been a Christian all my life and looking back I see how I have mistakenly taken the teachings of Jesus to be something for which my ego was meant to wear like a piece of clothing. As a result, sharing the gospel of Jesus often felt like a battle. Coming into "presence" or Holy Spirit, many of the words of Jesus suddenly reveals a much deeper meaning and more useful application in daily life. An effortless compassion arises upon the cessation of the ego. A sense of connectedness or oneness. It isn't forced, and selective. This agape love is effortless and unselective: "Love thy neighbor as thyself". Another Biblical passage is: "I am crucified with Christ, therefore I no longer live. Jesus Christ now lives in me." Many pointers to the same principle.
I've been looking forward to hearing your voice this week. I knew you would speak to us your calm, guiding presence reminders. I think it is safe to speak for many of us when I say We love you.

I agree if your world within your house is conducive to being able to live in the now. But what about the single mum in a flat with young children unable to get out .....where is her private retreat? Yes I know she can live in the moment and take each minute as it comes with her children however unless you have actually been there, experienced it I think its too simplistic to say we are on a private retreat.
Abundantia i see both consciousness arising as very unconscious acts. There is both beauty and craziness happening right now. Both are around me and although i don’t ignore one side, i still try to focus on the good that is born out of this. I still see people in groups together in the park having a ‘nice’ time together not working... it takes some people more time to wake up but most will soon. At the same time people want to connect again, help elderly, greet friendly again, taking real care , people saying ‘we are one’ even though they may not know yet how true that is!! All we can do in my perception is be present and do what feels right for us. Let that energy grow stronger than what-ever. I really try not to waste it in mind activity. I love humans becoming more aware at any level! ❤️

I have a story to tell,i suffered from health anxiety when i found eckhart so i started to get know about thought forms,pain body and ego...Health anxiety crippled me sending intrusive thoughts in cooperation with fear daily so i started to practice,then my father died,i fully embraced eckhart in those challenges and then i even got in fight my wife.aThe adversity of fear,anger,sadness,loss,negative thinking,ego all came down in point of darkest night with me actually doing nothing but observing them in me and shining light of awareness on them and accepting them..The peace prevailed and remained throughout very heavy situations that rotated trying to overtake me and identify me with every negative thought and emotion possible.I fully seized every oportunity on table to practice teaching and what i learnt so far.I cant even imagine the horor and suffering without these teachings Thank you

3 days ago, my sister died of Covid. Another sister has been in critical condition for a month and a half. Our mother passed away in Aug. I had to have my 12 yr old dog to sleep and now my beloved cat has been missing for days. In 2019, my husband of 20 yrs was killed by a train. And yet…I’m still standing. My awakening began in 2015 and the change in me has been amazing. I feel God’s love with me. ♥️

From the start of this pandemic, I have thought that this a test for humanity. I sincerely believe this is happening to awaken many , to shake up each one of us and to realize not only what we are made of but to give humanity more GRATITUDE than ATTITUDE and as a result reach a higher level of vibration in the collective. Appreciate the daily life and routine that we take for granted, the simple hello to the person you pass on the street, the sitting in traffic listening to music to get us to that everyday grind, that we now isolated to our home are so missing to do. Ironically we read this passage at our wedding. Now, 24 years later, after a 3 hour grueling divorce mediation session, in the middle of a stock market crash and coronavirus pandemic, I listen, and I realize I'm losing all my material possessions, my home, half of my time with one child, and all of my time with another, and what I thought was my future is gone. I guess I built my life on sand, not rock. But at least at 49 years old, I finally found myself. And you. Thank you so much, my dear Ekhart. As I go through this challenging, uncomfortable situation, I will remember "what is my state of consciousness?" "It's not too late to start digging now". "This a time of great opportunity; when the ego weeps for what it has lost, the spirit rejoices for what it has found."

I'm with you I divorced my husband he thought I would take his big house I left with my son rented a home I'm happy he now he is unhappy alone with big house.
My wife died of cancer on my birthday in 2005. In 1996 she had my baby son while battling breast cancer, a doctor killed him 30 days later. My wife died 9 years later, after risking her life to have him. My two best friends got killed flying. I lost everything I owned because of depression, I was homeless for a very long time. I could write ten more pages of tragedies that have happened in my life, but I dont think that way anymore. Even though they nearly destroyed me, and it hurt like hell, I see the gifts in every situation now. There are always people who are worse off than you, or went through worse things. Always. If you think about it, you are stronger than before. You know what you want more clearly, and you know the pitfalls. Society demands we do all kinds of crazy things, but we only have to find our own happiness, and thats it. Appreciate the contrast, and you sure find out who your real friends are when there is drama in your life. Nice to get rid of that dead wood you werent interested in anyway. When I took care a friend dying from ovarian cancer, I saw a beautiful, kind,wise human, she wasn't her cancer, she passed away, some day she was my teacher and I was the student, she was a humble, spiritual being. After her passing, I keep looking for more knowledge on how to be like her. One morning I open this channel and our wonderful teacher Eckhart Tolle was there teaching about how to let go of our ego. I knew that my sweet friend Robbie was still guiding me on how to be more at peace. The power of know has giving me so much peace, I get to help my daughter now that has brain injury, to let go of her pain, by telling her you're not your body, you're your soul. We have learned radical surrender to all the things she won't be able to accomplish and do in this life time.
I am so grateful that I found this beautiful community of humans being, helping each other in a good collective way.

My heart flipped when I saw those photos of clear blue skies over China's usually smoggy cities. The earth is healing in the absence of destructive human activity. I hope we can take better care of the planet when this is over. We have a collective responsibility. For everything.

Adversity is a powerful tool that you can use for spiritual growth and connecting deeper to the moment. Pain does not mean resistance and suffering. The moment can be uncomfortable, but the mind and thinking is what creates resistance and the suffering. Often times when we really don't want to be present is when we need it the most. I would love to have the luxury of worrying about the corona virus. Unfortunately I have to deal with the effects of the disease I’ve had for 20 years.
I just get worse. I saw a Sam Harris RUclips about how meditation prepares you for the worst day of your life. I thought this might actually work.
Sam Harris meditation is very different that just the focus on breathing. It goes deep, like how this guy thinks.
I meditate everyday, but haven’t let go of my ego, or the feeling of being the thinker of thoughts. He even says do you feel as though your consciousness is behind your face, behind your eyes. If you do that’s wrong.
I feel that and can’t get past that.
I feel like it was easy for him because he already felt those feeling in-depth through his use of MDMA while at Stanford.
It’s hard to do it naturally.
If anyone has any tips I would appreciate them because the way my body is now, everything is so much harder that I’d rather not deal with it anymore, but I’m forced to everyday. I can’t hate dealing with it now plus knowing it will keep getting worse everyday when I wake up and have to slog through existence all over again.

Close your eyes, focus on your breathing for a while, than try to feel your toes from within, feel the energy field in your toes, than in your fingertips, than try to feel the energy field of your whole body all at once....if you catch yourself drifting in your thoughts keep bringing your attention, your focus to your body, your toes, your figertips, etc.

I lost my son to disease. It forced me to dig deep. I found presence. It has been 3 years of hard work. I found within myself a strength which I never knew I possessed. Thank You for aiding me throughout this endeavor.
I can now remove myself from negative thinking, through much practice. When it arises I take a breath, separate the feelings from the present moment & step outside of myself. This practice has brought me peace.💞

I worked with many people,educating them to recognize deferent kinds of abuse they could not define what us happening.For example -narcissistic personality disorders,which is hard to spot for untrained eye.When you can define something that is giving you unrest,understand it ,you can distance and protect yourself.That is only an example. I am talking about resilience in life,not actual fighting. ‘Just accept it ‘concept is leading to menial issues...without actually understanding what are you dealing with.Rather Trust yourself,your intuition and every part of you is there for a reason...not to hush hush it forcing yourself to accept anything.

I'm only saying whatEVER situation you are faced with, you only have three choices: Accept it, leave it, or change it, IF possible. But the very first thing is ACCEPT it with zero resistance. Acceptance is the only way to see and or feel fully what you are facing. Then the wisest response or lack there of, will come through YOU. Not through the mind that creates danger. Through YOU. If YOU Can change it, you will change it. If you can't change it, you will leave it. If you can't leave it, you can only Fully accept it. That means find the peace within that can be found with any situation. Yes. Even if you don't prefer it.
The most resilient way to BE is to BE surrendered to whatever unfolds, FIRST..

@@geoms6263 Beautiful words. I grow my plants mainly from seed: gardening is my greatest ally in spiritual faith (I love using gardening as an analogy for spirituality). Currently I have several seeds germinating and sprouting on my window sills. Some seeds take longer to germinate - they have a tougher shell...and when it looks like NOTHING is happening (actually so much is happening beneath the soil; in the darkness) life is bursting forth and the shoots reach up to the light. The fragile part is waiting for the roots to strengthen...after that the plant thrives with the correct nurturing (just like us)...and just like us we need to weed out the stuff that may be toxic/affect in a negative way and water with love and the right nutrients. Just like with the masses right now, when we plant seeds, we need to cultivate, have great patience, send love and KNOW that nature will support life. Positive thought is the strongest things we have; mind over matter, heart power x

I love hearing your consciousness. Your book The Power of Now was a life saver. I was in a very dark place when I was making a film about peace and environmental awareness and I wanted to end my life. My sister, a doctor said I should take anti depressants. I wanted therapy and coaching but I went to the doctor to see if I needed antidepressants. He told me that I did not. He said I needed to read the book the Power of Now. I had no money and put it on my credit card and it truly saved my life. I have always been a meditator but I judging my sensitivity and emotions. I was focused on lack. You reminded me of gratitude and self compassion. In fact I’m going to write a book about my spiritual journey and I would be honoured if you would write the opening foreword
Beautiful story....I am familiar with being saved at the very last possible moment. I smiled when you wrote, "I had no money and put it on my credit card" That credit card IS money--and something to be grateful for (def not saying you weren't grateful) When I was poor---like I am now---I literally didn't have any money whatsoever. Nothing. Nada. Not even a credit card to serve as money and get me through rough patches. It was scary at times till I pulled it together for a little bit in my head. Everything I needed eventually did come to me....and always in the nick of time. I learned to be grateful for those moments and for every moment leading up to my "saving" It is actually quite humbling at times. I am getting back on my feet and had an opportunity to turn my life around (financially) but ---nope. There are still other plans for me. The opportunity has to be put on hold until this virus is under control. So I'll wait and be fine in the interim...nothing else can be done about it anyway! Thanks for sharing your story of hope!

I'm very grateful for Eckhart Tolle's teachings. I've been a Christian all my life and looking back I see how I have mistakenly taken the teachings of Jesus to be something for which my ego was meant to wear like a piece of clothing. As a result, sharing the gospel of Jesus often felt like a battle. Coming into "presence" or Holy Spirit, many of the words of Jesus suddenly reveals a much deeper meaning and more useful application in daily life. An effortless compassion arises upon the cessation of the ego. A sense of connectedness or oneness. It isn't forced, and selective. This agape love is effortless and unselective: "Love thy neighbor as thyself". Another Biblical passage is: "I am crucified with Christ, therefore I no longer live. Jesus Christ now lives in me." Many pointers to the same principle.
I've been looking forward to hearing your voice this week. I knew you would speak to us your calm, guiding presence reminders. I think it is safe to speak for many of us when I say We love you.

I agree if your world within your house is conducive to being able to live in the now. But what about the single mum in a flat with young children unable to get out .....where is her private retreat? Yes I know she can live in the moment and take each minute as it comes with her children however unless you have actually been there, experienced it I think its too simplistic to say we are on a private retreat.

Abundantia i see both consciousness arising as very unconscious acts. There is both beauty and craziness happening right now. Both are around me and although i don’t ignore one side, i still try to focus on the good that is born out of this. I still see people in groups together in the park having a ‘nice’ time together not working... it takes some people more time to wake up but most will soon.
At the same time people want to connect again, help elderly, greet friendly again, taking real care , people saying ‘we are one’ even though they may not know yet how true that is!!
All we can do in my perception is be present and do what feels right for us. Let that energy grow stronger than what-ever. I really try not to waste it in mind activity. I love humans becoming more aware at any level! ❤️

I have a story to tell,i suffered from health anxiety when i found eckhart so i started to get know about thought forms,pain body and ego...Health anxiety crippled me sending intrusive thoughts in cooperation with fear daily so i started to practice,then my father died,i fully embraced eckhart in those challenges and then i even got in fight my wife.aThe adversity of fear,anger,sadness,loss,negative thinking,ego all came down in point of darkest night with me actually doing nothing but observing them in me and shining light of awareness on them and accepting them..The peace prevailed and remained throughout very heavy situations that rotated trying to overtake me and identify me with every negative thought and emotion possible.I fully seized every oportunity on table to practice teaching and what i learnt so far.I cant even imagine the horor and suffering without these teachings Thank you

The steady drum beat continues to the miracle of the truth of pure perceptions to our basic clear mind ,rid of Sin (Ego).
We hear your Voice instructing us in truth seeing our Brothers and Sisters knowing we are looking for the light in everyone we encounter always , everything in these encounters are for the purpose of God which is Ours , Our Brothers and Sisters , all of Us .
We let ourselves be the instrument of God and know his love , his answers , his guidance and protection is with us always .
We know Him now , as he has allowed us at our moment to awaken from Human Condition , to Love as he does with forgiveness and the most intense unconditional love .
In which we give to All Ourselves, in Which we also receive in the most purest and clean non illusion that never stops seeking to bring all home, back to him with the covenant of his light ,so as we shine so bright.
This shining bright allows our energies to take the pathway that is lit so our Brothers and Sisters can see where to come , to see the beacon of Love awaiting them ,of those that yet haven't had their turn to awaken and lift to divine Higher Consciousness within the cross between world's dimensions with the Eternal continuum.
The truth is answered in every time in the truth from Source as we step out of our own way to hear .
Our calls are responded with Miracles by the Shift that is a gift of true Perceptions . This is how we receive the call to Love .
Forgiveness allows Us to hand the Miracles to our Brothers and Sisters as God's Will.We Heal as we Heal our Brothers and Sisters in the offering Miracles .We give as our own escape to receive to give them collectively in unity with thy brother and sister .
We recognise God's Holy Son as We Are in our Brothers and Sisters which reflects in the joining of our Beings .
Seeing this through the eyes of Christ in thy God's Instructions we know this is Us . Amen .
