Kenya's third president Mwai Kibaki attended both Makerere University in Uganda and London School of Economics UK . After current Uganda President Yoweri Museveni's failed attempt to attend Makerere University , Milton Obote through his friend Tanzania President Julius Nyerere, wrote a reference letter that allowed Yoweri Museveni to attend University of Dare salaam . Sudanese Rebel Leader Dr. John Garang also attended University of Dare salaam in Tanzania and had previously attended Iowa State University in US and Fort Benning Georgia Military training .

Yoweri Museveni son Muhoozi was born in Tanzania and together with some of his siblings completed part of his schooling in Kenya . Yoweri Museveni was exiled in Kenya . Uganda Presidents Milton Obote and Gen Tito Okello were both exiled in Kenya and Tanzania . Uganda is Kenya's largest trading partner in the continent . US is the largest buyer of Kenya's products in the world . Am a Kenyan but I have stayed in Uganda for 10 years since 2005 to 2015 and experience good food, drinks / alcohol and pork meat, binyebwa, katogo...and visit many beautiful places like Entebbe, Mukono, etc..but i just recalled that Ugandans would fear anyone speaking SWAHILI language....they think either you are a bad person / thief/ muyaye or a policeman... Food, drinks /alcohol are much affordable/cheaper.... and the cost of entertainment is cheaper too ..i could eat pork meat almost everyday while in Uganda coz that time it was almost 100ksh per 1kg... Uganda shops don't sell medicine... Uganda shops are converted into licker store/drinking joint during the night..... Uganda people think that Ugali food is for prisoners or poor people....they hate eating greens.... i heard Uganda kingdoms are paid by the government... Uganda ladies are well mannered compaired to Kenya ladies

Hahaha. This is one of the funniest episodes of the Repat Podcast. Meanwhile I like that Oshay and Raymond didn't fall into Mic Check's trap question and they both saw what he was trying to get them to say. And I don't mean the part where Mic Check said, "Uganda is the land of Nyash" because that's not a disrespectful thing to say. Oshay and Raymond know how to compliment Ugandan women or talk about the attributes of Ugandan women without being disrespectful.

I guess Uganda with their tribal Kingdoms have much similarities with Luos and Raila Odinga. Also there are Luos in Uganda, so I guess the western part of Kenya has similarities with Ugandans..
Because the rest of the Kenyan communities have chiefs and elders to talk issues of their tribal community, rather worshipping a person as a unifying factor of tribe.
But we appreciate the differences between the two countries. We are all unique and beautiful
