@AJCoReTV only way I was able to get the tire off since every pry bar I used just got bent I had to use a screw driver which scratched everything up not too badly tho and the scratches didn't seem to interfere with anything as the tire still held air 5 months later
@snakeone007 I like to think he was going to replace it in another video. Their only about 7 bucks on amazon but why destroy the old one. Not to mention they are pretty sharp
Does the motor just slide out or are those magnets? Seems like he is having trouble sliding it out and needed help by someone else. I opened the deck on my x11 plus but looks cluttered in there to remove the front motor wires from the yellow box. I'm hoping I can just remove the motor from the wheel with it connected in the deck
@snakeone007 yeah watch when he puts it back in the magnets in the motor are drawn to the iron in the rim I think. I have the Raptor and inside it's deck is really well organized and I didn't wanna mess it up if I didn't have to. So yeah in about 600 miles I'll be swapping my tires for road tires. Will definatly pull off the motor and disk rotor
Do I need to disconnect from the battery the motor part and after remove the motor from the wheel? Or I can have connected and remove the motor from the wheel?
That's easy, I'm not going to have to work, I have the Yume X11+ when the time comes to change the tires. What I'm going to do is remove the part where the disc is without removing the rim and then I take a very large pair of scissors and cut the rim in half and remove it easily later with the appropriate tools that do not scratch the rims, I put lubricant on the edge around the rim and the new tire I put it in very hot water so that it becomes a little soft and I put it The way is to try not to kill myself with work but to be intelligent in an easy way to do it....
This not as simple as split rim tire swaps… how to avoid destroying the look (scratches) of the rims this way? Can you make a new video showing start/finish Tire change for the new Hawk pro?
@@yumeelectricscooter9573any update on the Hawk Pro video? I just bought one and I'm starting to regret the decision if it's anywhere near this difficult to change the tire...
It would be easier to actually use the proper tools. The rim got all scratched up smh. Also if you get the proper tools and use a stand you wouldn't need to remove the motor core.
Looks like quite a process even by the professionals! The tire rims got scratched like hell, hopefully I will never have to do this lol
Agreed. Thinking about getting the Yume Hawk Pro with the tubeless tires and it still looks like a pain to change out 😮
@@MrBalas3does the Hawk Pro have split rim design?
No idea if it does. I would imagine it’s listed somewhere on their website.
@MrBalas3 when my yumes tire wouldn't hold air oh my God I spent a month getting that fucking tore off and a new one put on

Im glad you pull the motor out. I see so many vids of people leaving the motor on and struggling.
Why wouldn't he also remove the brake disc? Seems like when he is mounting the tire all the weight is on the disc and they aren't that thick

That's all that's needed to seal the air in there? I dunno how that works lol
I prefer a tubed split rim. I just add tire sealant and so far I've been lucky.
Can you add a sealant to that kind of tire he's replacing?
There's "plastic" tooks for that job by the way. So you don't fu** up your wheel while takin the rim Off.

Always disconnect from the battery before working on the motor.

Whatvsize socket or wrench nedded to loosen those bolts?
Can yume s10 be replace by a tubeless tire?
S10 cannot replace with tubeless tire
Look like hell compared to a split rim
Blud should've REMOVED them Brake Disc...
That disk is cheap to replace but yeah. Id have pulled it off as well
Guess they don't care about the rotor
Un carnage sur la jante 😮
You should have an option to ship with street tires installed. This looks ridiculous to do.
The tires of our scooters are already installed when shipped. This video is only for reference for customers who need to replace the tires.
Dude how to send you a other video for changing tire more easy and professional? This is not easy on first time changing.
