    other than a thin bracelet, do you have any examples or pictures of finished pieces with beaded crochet?

    How do you finish the bracelet with a clasp.

    Thanks Julie. How do I determine the length of the thread needed? Is there a ration - perhaps three times the length of the desired finished product?

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  10 лет назад

      There is not a ratio that i know of and it will depend upon your tension and bead size. If you plan on making a number of projects, I would suggest cutting yourself a 2 foot length of cord, then crocheting with beads the full length and measuring how much finished crochet you end up with.

    Very good instruction but how do I add button and closure? Please show. thanks

      @beadaholique  6 лет назад

      Your idea is definitely doable but I unfortunately can not write out all the steps. It would be best illustrated in a video. I can add the idea to our video request list, it’s a good idea! Thanks!

    How do you finish the bracelet?

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  4 года назад

      We like to use crimp bead cord ends to finish delicate projects like this. Here's a finished chain stitch project of ours, the instructions have links to more videos that can teach you the finishing technique: beadaholique.com/products/retired-breast-cancer-awareness-wrap-bracelet

      Hi, at the end of the video it shows how to fasten off the crochet end so that the stitches and beads do not unravel. Was there something more you were wanting to see?

      Here is the full tutorial for a similar technique: www.beadaholique.com/breast-cancer-awareness-wrap-bracelet.html. With this tutorial you will see that crimps are used to finish off the ends.

    What size beads would you recommend when using Caron simply soft yarn?

    • @beadaholique
      @beadaholique  8 лет назад

      +Judy Philips I don't have any of that yarn in front of me, but I do know of it. I think you are going to need to go with a larger bead like a 6/0.
