- This video I will show you crocheted yarn swatches made using the Yarn Bee Scrub-ology yarn sold at Hobby Lobby. This was the first time using this yarn, I had a little trouble at first getting used to the yarn, and it is terrible if you have to rip out. You have to take your time and go slow when ripping your stitches out.
After about my 3rd sample swatch I was finding it easier to use. I love this yarn for dish cloths and scrubbies, but do find it a little hard to work with.
BUT so worth the end results.

My husband loves the dish scrubbies I made cause he hated when we would run out of the scotch pads during after dinner wash up. They don't wear out and you just throw them in the was with the towels. Everyone loves the back scrubbers I made them for Christmas too.

Thanks for the swatches i love to see how the different color ways work up! Fruit Salad was clearanced out during their last sale so you don’t go looking and it’s not there but you can check their website to be sure if you want. Much love and blessings ❤️
I love the idea of using my scrubby yarn for dish clothes, but did not enjoy crocheting with it. I am going to try knitting them.

I love this cotton so much my hubby bought me a tote full so i could make scrubbies and things. Not everyone likes working with it though.

I live in Australia..we lived in the US for 10 years up until 2016 so I loved buying this to make my scrubbers. In 2019 pre covid my darling husband went back to the US for work and he came back with a suitcase full of this for me ❤️ so I have plenty to make things with. I find it easier to use with a strand of cotton. Thanks Glenda for showcasing this yarn.

I got some natural cotton scruby yarn. In a yarn stash I bought garage saling. Looking forward to your scrubby video.
I’ll be looking forward to that video. We don’t have that brand in Newfoundland Canada but I have many balls similar. I usually knit a regular dishcloth and put scrubby yarn on the last quarter of the cloth.

I used to take someone with me to Hobby Lobby because they had 50% off coupons but now they don’t have the coupons anymore. I’ll have to start watching for the sales. I use this yarn all the time. I do recommend using a thick cream on your hands if you use a lot cause it sucks the moisture right out of your hands.

Glenda yarn bee scrubology yarn looks so nice and I think it would be really cool to make scrubbies to wash the dishes and pans I think I'm going to have to buy some of that thank you for making awesome swatches crochet patterns for what
Even though it says scrub ooh, my first thought, when I saw the first swatch, was a pretty rug, for by a bed. But they would have to be soft. Scrubee doesn't sound like it is soft. Call me crazy, but I liked them all. The round ones looked the best.

I was wondering how hard it would be to crochet with this yarn.thank for the information.
I wish we had seen you actually crocheting one of the swatches. When you say it's a difficult yarn to see while crocheting it reminds me of the fuzzy blanket yarns they have come out with and I can't use those at all.
Could you possibly do a swatch with the Smiley's yarn you were gifted? I'm on the fence and it would help. I can't tell if it is more red or more orange and I'm not the biggest fan if a multi-color yarn is overly orange. A little is fine though. Scrubbies are good for the opportunity to make cleaning easier, but I find the price per skein a bit high. I enjoyed your video though. Wal-marts scrubbies are pricey also.
Does this just have the scrubbing stuff or is there cotton mixed in with it? I like the polka dot one the best.
When I tried to crochet with this yarn I had so much difficulty finding where my stitches were that I switched to knitting; no need to guess where to put the hook
I BUY NETTING CUT IN STRIPS & HOLD IT WITH COTTON YARN & CROCHET.MY MA MADE IT THAT WAY..DOES THE SAME THING & CHEAPER.

How does this yarn get along with the crochet hooks. I use Clover Armor hooks. I don’t want to damage the coating.
Have you used the premier scrubbybyarn? If so, which one do you prefer; cotton or the acrylic?

Have you tried. Red heart scrubby yarns? If so how does the compare?
I have not used Red Heart scrubby yarn yet, this is the first time this type of yarn
This yarn works great for exfoliating yourself in the shower or bath.

I like the look and idea. But, this looks to risky for a beginner like myself. I still enjoyed the video.
My cotton yard(just cotton) it gets fuzzy, I don't know how to describe. WHY is this happening and what can I do ?!

I love the look of the scrubby yarns, but so far I’m not a fan of working with it.
DON'T LIKE THIS YARN OR ANY BRAND( RED HEART, ETC.)OF THIS YARN TO ROUGH ON YOUR HANDS.
It does take some getting used to.
