- I would like to start by thanking everyone who stayed till the very end. This video turned out way differently than I thought it would. In the end, I decided not to edit anything out and let yall see exactly what I was going through. It's never easy losing a loved one, but having something personal to remember them by can ease some of the pain. Always make time for family. There's nothing more important. Silver and Gold will come and go, but family is forever.
Thanks for showing us the beautiful keepsakes and momentos you have from your Grandfather. May he rest in peace and always live in your heart! 🙏🏼
It means a lot receiving these items. Especially since I just found out it's all that's left of his possessions. Scumbag uncle knew he had stuff hidden away and stole most of his stuff
@@SerpentSilver Family can be the most ruthless. Very sad when it comes to people passing. I'm glad you have a few things to remember him by.
@@SerpentSilverI remember when my mum passed away my niece went into her house took stuff even a prepaid phone and called me off it and I had mum flashing on my screen if I had of hold hold of her that day I’d still be in prison now ….. they have to live with them selves bro ….. god bless GTS 🤝🫶🏻
Brother thank you for sharing such a personal unboxing, what a blessing it is to be to have those items passed down to you .
I actually just found out that he had a much larger collection. Scumbag uncle stole it all. These were some of the few items that survived. I am very grateful to have something passed down from him that I can continue to pass down
@@SerpentSilver that is so sad brother.
Amen
Thank you for sharing this special unboxing with us! Really glad you decided to upload it mate 🫂
Thanks 365 🫂
Sorry for your loss. Really cool way to document inventorying it. Your great grandchildren can refer back to this video in the future,.
After my great grandma past he told us we had 1 year left with him. He wasn't wrong. He quickly started to decline in health and went out just the way he said he would. Love is crazy
Your sharing of sentiment is appreciated. My grandfather is the reason I collect coins. I was born 1971, my grandfather lived in another state, and for my birthday he every year would send me an Eisenhower dolllar. Needless to say I'm an Ike collector thanks to him and he's the reason I started down the road of collectingt US coins and silver. God Bless
I've definitely become an Ike collector as well thanks to him. I got my nicest one coming in soon
Love the video, it’s funny, getting family coin collections, some not so collectible and others are, but because they are family and they are ALL collectible. Nice job.
I wish I could've seen more. Alot of his collection was stolen
Never easy to lose family members that you're close to, but very cool that you have a collection of his to remember him by. Everyone needs to cry sometime. It's not healthy to never cry. It would mean you were missing an essential part of your humanity. Good video! Keep stacking!
Thanks for watching. It wasn't easy for me to upload
This brought a tear and a smile. Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing with us
Thank you for watching Sy. I wanted to stop recording once I started crying. I'm glad I didn't. I really needed to let that out
I know every coin that was passed down to me,it is emotional, I get it. Good man! Keep up with the videos, I’m following.
Going through that box turned out way different than expected
Very cool unboxing video👊👍thanks for sharing such a personal unboxing
Thanks SAW
Love the toning on that ASE. I like the dark tones, even though the rainbow ones seem to get more love in general.
Thank you for sharing!
Very true. There's just something about the darker toning
A beautiful collection of sentimental pieces. That toned silver Eagle is stunning! Hold on to the memories and he'll always be with you 🫶🏽
Thanks CY. During the stack chat they talked about the one piece you'd pick over any other. That's it
@@SerpentSilver haha... really? When? I must have missed it 😆
@@CY_Sterling you don't remember TSC saying he'd watch my video and have a nice cry with me? Is was around that time
@@SerpentSilver I'm sorry, bud. I was at work for the start and then had it on in the background while I was doing a few bits and pieces so wasn't always fully listening. Must have missed that bit. I'll watch it back
It's ok to cry. Emotion's are a good thing it just proves that you are a caring good man.
Sometimes I wish I'd cry more. I feel like I hold back way to much
Sorry for the loss of your loved one brother. Thanks for being comfortable enough with us to share the awesomeness he left you. When my grandfather passed, my entire extended family were all fighting over all of his posessions. I got nothing. I would have been beyond happy just to have something like the Maglight that sat on his bedside table forever that I would play with as a kid. Or the pool float he way ALWAYS on. I'm glad you got something that was close to him to keep.
I definitely do feel blessed to have these in my possession now. Especially since I now know this is all that survived. His stuff was ransacked by one family member
Lovely set of coins buddy, thanks for sharing such a personnal collection!
Thanks for watching. I didn't want to upload it at first
thank you for sharing this
I'd like to think so too
theres some really cool pieces in there, the proof money clip and penny set ive never seen, great taste
I'd probably use the money clip if it wasn't a proof gilded half dollar
Really cool stuff man. A good remembrance of him. That's tough stuff man. Take care. I have a antique yellow straight razor as well. Almost looks like it might be the same one.
Thanks for watching Anxious. I think I might start collecting old razors
Nice box of stuff man, my dad got me into stacking and he passed away 11/27/21 from covid. I would give anything to have another day with him
Sorry for your loss. At least we have the memories
Family First thanks for sharing.
They are the best of treasures
Thanks for sharing. I do this occasionally with some of the things my nan left me and as time goes on its easier to really only think about the good times.
Thankfully I have few bad memories of him. And now I have something of his to help remind me of those good memories
Thank you for sharing . May he rest in peace 🙏🏻😍
🤣That old man ain't resting in peace. He's partying in paradise
@@SerpentSilver good to hear 🤝
Really cool collection
Thanks for watching
So sorry for your loss. I never knew my grand parents But I really wish I had gotten to meet them
Sadly it's part of life. I should've spent more time with him in the end
Thank You for Sharing 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for watching
11:18 really enjoying this!
Because of that coin I've started a eisenhower dollar collection
Count your blessings,
Enjoy everyday.
Yes sir
On the buckle, the design looks like a guitar, possibly the f stood for Fender...who knows
You know that kinda makes sense. They did have a fender that color blue. I'll look into it
200 subs ♥
Thank you so much
That straight razor... I mean it is 2024 and all but anyway its around 100 years old by now, the second knife is form the mid to late 90's maybe early 00's, based on the wood. I dont remember that styling in wood before then. The case for it looks to be much older. I still miss my Grandparents, they were more my mom and dad than grandparents. I look forward to seeing them again.
I'm definitely gonna be looking more into them. I'd never actually seen a straight razor except on TV and movies before this
Its a very nice one for sure. You might start collecting them! Better yet learn how to shave with them! You figure it predates the double edge safety razor .@@SerpentSilver
Sadly I was never taught how to properly shave 😔 I use an electric razor
I love the idea about starting a collection
So cool bro 🧲⚓️👍🙏
Thanks
You should learn to shave with that razor!
I'll definitely be looking into it. Sadly I was never even taught how to properly use a normal razor. I learned alot from my grandpa and great grandpa but shaving wasn't one of them.
@@SerpentSilver Should be lots of youtube videos on how to do it safely. I learned to use a safety razor that way. I'll probably try to use a straight razor at some point. Shave Nation here on RUclips is a great channel.
I'm gonna look like Edward Scissorhands after the first try😂
@@SerpentSilver 🤣😂
Can never replace Memory’s bro 🧲⚓️👍🙏🙏🙏
That's one of the best parts about life. The memories we create
