    What is the meaning in case of synchronous motor that load is mechanical so it take only active power but in books like PSBhimra it is mention that at the output of synchronous motor active and reactive power is also present given equation for that?

    Sir I have a very important question . I m working at power house and one of the operator ask me a question that when the alternator is on no load means not connected to line, while the machine rotor is rotating withits rated rpm then according to Faraday law due to relative motion it induces voltage , where this vootages goes to.
    Case1 when AVR connected to generator
    Case 2 when AVR not connected to the generator
    For both cases the machine is unloaded.. plz plz plz sir

      Sir ...voltage doesn't go anywhere when it is under no load condition..but it considered as floating point..like a water tank with full of water but no taps are opened..when tap is opened (when the load is connected voltage drives the power to the load)..

    0degree between t1 to t2 and t3 to t4. 180degree between 0-t1 and t2-t3
