Just discovered wargaming this weekend here on youtube and I'm already hooked, cannot wait to play. You have an amazing setup there and the camera work and how you explain everything is addictive. You mind if I ask, what size of miniatures are those? (I'm still confused about what to buy and trying to get an idea) do you buy everything else (buildings, vehicles) exactly same scale as miniatures?
Welcome to the hobby! The minis we use are called 28mm. It is the most common scale but there are smaller scales down to 2mm even depending on how large a battle you want to represent. With 28mm you are mostly focusing on platoon sized battles but with smaller figures toy could play entire armies against each other. If you are on Facebook there are tons of gaming groups to join where people would be more than happy to answer any questions you have. We have a tabletop CP group as well they had a lot of friendly gamers
Awesome set up as always. Is that brummbar a Tamiya kit? I’ve never seen one in 1/48. I’ve noticed the stateside and Japan production runs do have small differences.
Klaus Olsen Hi Klaus, I got them off eBay. They were part of a Conan game at one point. I haven’t seen them for a while but they show up from time to time.
Great game report 0 thank you. Again hindsight - was there not a way to ambush the Brumbar with one of the bazooka teams rather than bringing them on normally? Scenery question - are you hedges just chunks of lichen stacked up or are they based? Thanks
Not the greatest of games , Travis played well to trap the Americans in the wood which everyone saw coming except Andre it seems..lol..Although it was in Andre's game plan to let Travis get to the wood and ambush the Germans. Rapid force moral loss again spoiled Andre's 'cunning plan' and ended the game abruptly and a bit unsatisfactory for me but hey, roll on the next ...cheers to you both.
Love all this content! Keep it going Tabletop!
A tough game for Andre, the waiting game seems to have kicked him in the ass. Hindsight is easy, thanks for the good game and for keeping me alive.
Very methodical attack by the SS, well played Travis!👍
Great vid, I enjoy your chain of command games 👍
Can see that remembering the re-roll in the 'heat of battle' is a problem

@@tabletopcp Hey thanks for taking the time to answer. Platoon style I think will be my jam so 28/20/15mm will probably be right for me. Thanks )

JvC Paints it so a 1/48. A tamiya panzer 4 body wirh an aftermarket resin brummbar conversion kit
@@tabletopcp Aw..I see. Thanks for the information! I'll be scouring the internet shortly....
JvC Paints I believe the company that made the resin brummbar kit is called Tank Workshop. Check eBay.
Hi Guys, where did you buy the colorrings for the bases?
Klaus Olsen Hi Klaus, I got them off eBay. They were part of a Conan game at one point. I haven’t seen them for a while but they show up from time to time.
@@tabletopcp thanks for the answer...
Question: do US rifle troops get to re-roll '1s' as they have semi auto rifles?
Definitely. An important rule to remember 😄

Scenery question - are you hedges just chunks of lichen stacked up or are they based?
Thanks
Pat G yep. He could have ambushed with them. Would have been a good idea. The lichen is glued to scrubber pads that are based
Good game. Are those lichen hedges just glued together on a base? Or do you just have them loose? They look great
They were the scrubber pad hedges to begin with but I glued in some lichen to make them bushier.
Not for nothing but when the zook hit the grumbling bear, you had a five there as the Axis player. Soooooo a bounce I think?
KhanUlric quite possible.
@@tabletopcp yeah, I know under the circumstances it didn't matter much. all the same, I know you guys try to be as accurate and precise as possible
KhanUlric try too! Thanks for the heads up 🍻
