I witnessed this firsthand as an outsider. I'm a Christian, who was invited by an at the time friend to their local kingdom hall. A woman who I knew, who was her own mom had to sit in a separate specific place just for shunned congregants. I didn't know she was shunned, so when I said " hey, how are you"? I was told not to speak or acknowledge her at all in front of her and others. This threw me aback. It honestly crushed me. This woman's face said it all. She looked defeated. It distressed me. I knew I would never go back. In my spirit I knew this was wrong. Her own family shunned her. I felt deeply saddened. What my ears heard & eyes saw shocked me to the point that my chest felt tight and my ears burned the entire time I was there. In my opinion I would say this "religion" is a cult. So terribly sad. 😭💔

Now you can always judge one’s character individually and it may not align with what’s right but as far as an organization they don’t operate that way and furthermore Jehovah will handle those doin wrong accordingly. We should never judge an organization off of a few ppl rather ones focus should be on the teachings and their teachings are in line with what the Bible actually says.

Joe. That's great that you were to escape the Jehovah's Witness DOOMSDAY CULT. I was a born in JW as well and left after 50 years. I am an activist. I am planning a protest in WASHINGTON DC on October 31st 2023. Why October 31st? Firstly, it was the very day Charles Taze Russell died. And that's the same day I want this CULT to be STOPPED AND SHUT DOWN. So it's symbolic in a way. In addition, it ALLOWS PIMOS TO DISGUISE THEMSELVES TO PROTEST AS WELL AS OTHER ACTIVE JWS WHO DISAGREE WITH THE LEADERSHIP'S HARMFUL AND DANGEROUS RULES AND POLICIES. AND OTHER HIGH CONTROLLED GROUPS CAN ALSO PROTEST AGAINST THE GROUPS THAT THEY WERE ASSOCIATED WITH THAT IS SIMILAR TO WATCHTOWER'S DECEPTION AND CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES. PLEASE CONTINUE IN YOUR POWER TO HELP OTHERS GAIN THEIR FREEDOM. I NOW LIVE MY LIFE IN TOTAL FREEDOM AND HAPPINESS. IT WAS A HARD ROAD, BUT I MADE IT THROUGH.

I’m sorry to hear you fell for these apostate lies, Joe.
      Sad, but all foretold.
The organization isn’t perfect, they never claimed to be perfect, the Bible doesn’t say God’s people would be perfect in the end.
      It actually teaches the opposite.
John was given a vision that takes place in the Lord’s Day, whether the Lord’s Day is today or in the future is irrelevant, were the 7 figurative congregations inspected by Jesus in the Lord’s Day perfect?
      No. They were not.
Expecting the congregations to be perfect today is unbiblical.

It's interesting what finally woke me up. I was ultra-focused on how messed up the elder arrangement is through my experiences and watching my own family members who are elders and a former CO. So much hypocrisy, injustice, narcissism and lack of love. Then at the Watchtower study in April 2022 entitled "Do you Trust in Jehovah's Way of Doing Things" my eyes were opened. Paragraph Nine: "If we are asked to join a new congregation, we may find it difficult to leave friends and family. Do the elders receive divine direction that tells them where to assign each publisher? No." NO??? NO divine direction when elders make decisions that could directly affect a member's spirituality??? They didn't say they gave it prayerful consideration, nope they are only interested in seating capacities. There was my answer. I wanted so bad for the elder arrangement to be fixed and had prayed over and over again to Jehovah to make it right and at that moment it was all clear and it finally made sense........the elders have no divine direction. Right from the Watchtower. It took me over a better half of a century but I finally got it. Thank you for your well done videos. Yours was the very first one I ever watched while waiting for the lightning bolt from the sky to hit me. LOL. My sister and daughter also appreciate your channel. We look forward to seeing more! Thanks again!

The second I told my family I was not tryna be a witness my addiction problem went away in a matter of days.

Excellent work you have done in helping elders to see the whole picture of how legal action can be and has been used against unsuspecting elders in how the governing body will not and cannot shield individuals from what amounts to illegal activity. Yes, it's true ,unfortunately, that many men have blindly trusted the leadership to do what is morally correct. We may ask ourselves ,'why couldn't we see what we had ourselves involved with. ?' That's something we can analyze through the help of individuals who genuinely care. It's time to do what is right. Leaving Watchtwer doesn't t have to mean leaving God. Again, thanks for the great work.

Once again, thank you. Very informative and all the references for back up , that's what 'they' need to see. I left The Cult right after graduating high school before i started college. Our father was removed as an elder in my last years of high school, i believe it was for letting my siblings and i participate in extra curricular activities such as sports and so on . I like to think it was a huge relief for him, although, it didn't stop others from getting guidance and opinions from him, elder or not, he's just a good guy. As for the shunning, it still continues, our time with him never mixes with his fellow JW's but we spend as much time with him as we want without judgement or him trying to re-indoctorate us.
Sadly i know others who have tried suicide as an answer to the guilt and have bounced in and out of "The Cult" . It would take hours of discussion to express my contempt of this 'faith' for what it has done personally and to others that have left that i know.

My sister and I were born in. We both ran away from home in our late teens to escape. Unfortunately we were unable to run away together- this was 25 yrs ago before everyone had cell phones.
One of my sister's absolute biggest grievances was the blood policy. She and my mom would constantly get in very heated arguments over it. My sister wanted her life to be saved. She wasn't baptized and she would tell my mom she'd emancipate herself so she could get a life saving blood transfusion if she ever needed it. I didn't like it either but it didn't get me to the same level of rage it would my sister. My hot button issue was shunning (my favorite uncle committed suicide while being shunned) That was some foreshadowing. It was as if she somehow knew.
Fast forward to two years ago and she was diagnosed with leukemia. It was caught late and she was in critical condition and absolutely would've died without blood transfusions.
I was my sister's bone marrow/stem cell match and the transplant was successful. Now we're twinsters- not even identical twins share the exact same DNA the way my sister and I do now 🥰.
If we’d stayed the path our mother wanted us to my litte sister would be guaranteed to be dead right now. Instead, in a couple of weeks we're meeting at a beautiful cabin we rented in high in the mountains and we're going to celebrate her successful transplant and her life and our bond as sister's ❤

When I was 21, I left my congreation (quietly) and family and tried to live my life as a normal 21 yo would. This was an attempt to escape my Dysfunctional/abusive family and this high demand religion. I may have been 21 but mentally I was soo much younger. All ex witness kids know this phase of complete naivety and getting yourself into very real situations that you have no training on. I found myself completely lost and it felt like if I didn’t go back to the org/my family than I would never find my way in this world. I called and met with the brothers of my own accord. One of the brothers assigned to my committee, had actually never said anything to me.. even though I as bff and out in service with the kids he was very loving and involved with every week. Only difference between me and those other kids is that I had a woman’s curvy body since I was 13 and my dad was not an elder, my mother not a pioneer. I never did anything “bad” until I gave up and left. At the judicial meeting they took detailed notes of every sexual or humiliating experience I had ever had to the point where I wish I could of called Chris Hansen cause it was PREDATORY honestly..they asked me why I acted out this way if I “knew better” and I told them the doubts I felt and how I never felt the love or support from the people I was told I could feel that from in the congregation, and I had wanted to feel something other than pain and loneliness. The same pervy brother who thought I was a jezebel, told me “it sounds really like you really doubt the faithful and discreet slave and have a problem with men” asked me a few more Qs and disfellowshipped me..I told myself it was what I needed to do and I deserved it, that they were right, and I got reinstated in a year (woke fully up a few years after that) I’m still struggling with the ptsd of that trauma. It’s NOT a normal or healthy situation for the human brain especially when they’re already at a low point psychologicaly..It’s so sick how we truly can believe we deserve to be oustrasized from love and belonging because we acted in maybe mistaken but definitely human ways.

As a former elder & COBE who disassociated due to finding out the truth about “The Truth”, I can unequivocally verify that everything that’s shared here is absolutely true & unbiased.
I had 3 CSA members in the congregation, & 2 were given the same instructions where if they go out preaching, an elder had to accompany them. One was in my service group. The other one, who was the most egregious out of them all was married; he was not given that instruction. He just couldn’t work alone w/ a minor or anyone besides his wife or an elder.
And it’s very true; when calling on matters, u are not allowed to know the other party’s name or qualifications, but they want to thoroughly screen you. I actually knew one of those individuals, being that I was just w/ him a whole week using my $$ to accommodate his visit. Very distinct tone & cadence. Thinking we were good, I said hi to him, & immediately was told, “I’m not sure who that is”, then followed up w/ “I’m sorry u’re mistaken, but that information is privileged.”
Never understood why UNTIL what happened to those poor brothers in IL. I believe one of the ?’s was indeed who did u speak w/, & their reply was we don’t know.

But since it’s just a black mailing ‘provision’ and to be able to say we kick all sinners out it’s quick and mechanical. Unless you’re an elder who sinned and waited a few years to confess then you can continue to serve and df other rank & files who confess Jehovah’s organization I guess.

I too served for 50+ years in every position available. From regular pioneering at 100 hours per month, special pioneered at 150 hours per month, served where the need was great, I served as an elder in every position available, even gave talks at conventions. I had always had serious doubts about some of the teachings, but was afraid to ask for fear of being ridiculed. Thank goodness for the internet! I was watching RUclips and a suggested video came up. It was regarding the JW religion being false and a cult. Wow! I became fascinated and began to pursue every available RUclips channel about this religion. I woke up and realized that I had been lied to for 50 years of my life. Now, I zealously condemn this book publishing company and try to get the real truth out to anyone who will listen.

when I was molested by a ministerial servant with the help of the elder and his pioneer wife, it was horrible. I was only 11. I was told not to mention it, and only pray and leave it in God's hand and he will take care of it. I was harassed by an elder when I was a teen, and later on, I heard he groomed other kids too... In the end, nothing was done. I always felt scared and unsafe. i like the objective way you talk in your videos, with evidence and facts. You are absolutely right... waking up is really hard.

Nor did the lawyer mention that many that are of adult age are booted out of the house. The district assemblies of 2016-2017 made that very clear regarding the necessity of severing family ties with disassociated or disfellowshipped members. This is a very deceitful and corrupt organization..🥀

There are sinful men in all churches. Did not Jesus chose Judas?
It is not that the actions of these men discredit JW. It is their false theology and beliefs that makes them a false church.
One cannot just go by the Bible alone. After all JW claimed to only go by the Bible. Look to the early Christians to see if your church aligns with their beliefs/ practices

I was disfellowshipped purely for my choice to continue in a romantic relationship with my nonbelieving bf, unmarried. I admitted to it within about 3 months and the elders in so little words encouraged me to either marry him or end the relationship. I told them respectfully I would do neither. And on that note, just as they did to you, they essentially hunted me down to disfellowship me themselves without me ever meeting with them. I wasn't trying to sway anyone at the hall and I wasn't living some wild crazy life. They just cut me off from everything I've ever known just like that (raised a witness, baptized at 17). Now my own mother won't even talk to me (been disfellowshipped for over a year and a half). When I watched that part in this video where the lawyer misrepresented how the disfellowship arrangement works, I was so sickened and hurt. That's such a lie 😢 I can't believe the manipulative behaviors of this organization that I never realized because it was all I knew. I was in an abusive marriage with a terrible witness, and they pretty much forced me to stay with him for almost 5 years and I am so sad that I let it go on that long. I didn't realize I was being mistreated by the organization too. This stuff is so surreal to watch, thank you for sharing, it's been a big help during my healing process recently.

Coming from a catholic background,, I used to read the jehova's witness literature, awake and watchtower alot as a teenager and I felt I had seen the light. I use to discuss with my catholic friends and family that these guys (JWs) have the truth but what baffles me is how alot of these guys are are leaving this organization and I think social media has enabled me to hear a more balanced view about alot of issues concerning jehova's witness

@@DUZCO10 Your comment is off topics. Watchtower is not at fault for have pedophiles in its upper tiers. It is at fault for putting its own interest over the well-being of children. The Bible is full of myth and can easily be debunked. It is a good for morals and I learn from it. But I don’t do church as it is all man-made and I am not a slave nor follower.

@B1 Crusade hi Peace be with you. Sorry I don't understand your position. No church for you since you claim it's man-made but the church, thru the Holy Spirit of course, gave us the Canon of the NT. There was no NT in the 1st 400 yrs. Who told you the NT is inspired writing and we cannot change it.
If God has His prophets why is it hard for you to accept that He works thru man?
Jesuschrist left 12 apostles after his resurrection to go and teach His word and traditions. He did not leave a book. The church gave us the NT much like the author comes before the book.

This is really scary. And maybe I am thinking to deeply on this but, I do wonder how many CSA's join the Organization in order to be protected while fulfilling their sick desires against the children in the congregations. Also, I have found many cases of men who are elders who abuse children, aren't they supposed to be appointed by Jehovah? Surely an all-knowing god wouldn't appoint someone into a position of power who he knew would sexually abuse children? I want so badly to share this information with my family, but I am disfellowshipped and not only am I forbidden from speaking with them spiritually, I am 100% ignored on all levels by MOST of them.

Well done. Elders are being carried ro court for not reporting CSA. They have no specific persons to pin it on from Bethel's Legal Dept. That should be a red flag for any thinking elder.

This also shows how the Watchtower Society's Governing Body leaves the elders to suffer the wrath of the law for not reporting cases of sexual abuse against children to police beforehand.
